A STOKE is similar to heart
attack, only in this case, blood flow to brain
rather than the heart,is blocked. The term

that someone had receive a “A STROKE OF
GOD,S HAND”and that was therefore

WHAT IS STOKE?
A STROKE is an interruption in blood supply
to the brain that cause cell death. Some
strokes result in permament disability,
whereas others are so called mild that that
they go unnoticed. Depending on where a
stroke occurs in the brain and severity of
the stroke, one or more body systems may
be affected. For these reasos,it is safe to say
that strokes does not always look the same
from person to person.
Stroke has two major type
THE TWO MAJOR TYPES OR
STOKE:
1.ISCHEMIC STROKE
2.HEMORRHAGIC STROKE
1)ISCHEMIC STROKE
*Over 80% of stroke are ischemic
stroke, resulting when a blood vessel within
the brain is blocked by a blood clot or other
bodily matter.This blockaged reduce
oxgygen delivering blood flow and cause
progressive brain tissue death.
*Common disabities as a result of an
ischemic stroke are speech and vision
disabities,physical disabilities,memory loss
and behavior changes. There are two type of
ischemic stroke.
A.EMBOLIC STROKE
In an embolic stroke,a blood clot or plaque
fragment forms, ussually in the heart or the
large artiries leading to the brain, and then
move through the artiries to the brain. In
the brain, the clot blocks a blood vessels and
leads to a stroke.
B.THROMBOLIC STROKE
A Thrombolic stroke is a blood clot that
forms inside an artery that supply to the
brain. The clot interrupts blood flow and
