Purpose:

This memorandum is done to seek support for our “APDSA Mid-Year Meeting ” that will be held
cordially in Indonesia in 2021.

APDSA Mid-Year Meeting is an annual event within APDSA circle that serve as a pivotal standpoint
for students to engage through the given platforms hosted by country after bidding.

Back in 2019, APDSA Indonesia won the bidding to host the prestigious event with hopes to bring on
more academic and culture engagement to the beautiful country of Indonesia. The event shall be held
under the supervision of the LOC from “ Universitas Islam Sultan Agung” and “Universitas Gadjah
Mada”.

APDSA is in full support of the process and hope any relevant organization could be a part of this
beautiful event.

Background:

Asia Pacific Dental Student Association, APDSA in further text, is an association comprised of diverse
dental students across Asia Pacific Region that was established in 1968 in Japan with the first annual
congress in 1969. Currently, APDSA consists of 16 member countries within the region and many
potential partnerships with various students organization within the region.

Our visions are to:

 To promote dental health in the Asia Pacific region.

 To promote closer regional and international cooperation among dental students
 To assist in organizing an international convention of dental students.
 To uphold studies and to promote contact between dental students in the region.
 To advance dental science in the region.
