ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is with great pleasure and sense of satisfaction that we present my project on

“SPEED SYNCHRONIZATION OF MULTIPLE MOTORS IN INDUSTRIES ".
The completion of any inter-disciplinary project depends upon co-operation, co-
ordination and combined efforts of several sources of knowledge. I sincerely express
gratitude to my project guide, MR. ABDUL AZIZ RAGHIB, M. TECH Asst.
professor, for his valuable inputs, able guidance, encouragement, whole-hearted
cooperation and constructive criticism throughout the duration of project. It is my
privilege to do the project under his guidance.

I deeply express sincere thanks to my head of department Dr. Sardar Ali for
encouraging and allowing me to present the project and providing standard format for
this preparations and valuable suggestions to precede the project and completion of
work.

I take this opportunity to thank my project coordinator Mrs. Shaziya Sultana

and all my lecturers who have directly or indirectly helped in the project. And
also we are thankful to our friends for their cooperation and support.

I derive great pleasure in expressing our sincere gratitude to Teaching and Non –
Teaching Staff, E.E.E Dept for his timely suggestions, which helped us to complete
the work successfully.

This acknowledgement would be incomplete if I failed to put across my deep

sense of obligation and adoration to my Parents. They motivated me and provided
their moral support and encouragement

ABSTRACT

This project proposes a power system protection device designed to be integrated in

smart environments based on HVS technologies. The proposed system enhances
electrical safety by fast disconnection of the power supply in case of fault events like
over voltage, over current and phase failure. The system also enables real-time
monitoring on synchronization. The technology is bringing a revolution in the
digital world after the discoveries in the field of computer and Internet. So we can use
the concept of synchronization technology in the power system. Today the world is
moving fast towards the more effective and efficient smart grid technology by
replacing the existing old technologies with the smart grid. So we can use both the
technologies to make the existing power system more effective and efficient.
Synchronization of Multiples Motors in Industries will be a perfect blend of two
technologies which will result in improvement of the existing power structure in
India. In addition to that there will be many advantages of using this technology.
Feeder monitoring is an important application of Synchronization of Multiples
Motors in Industries. In India over the past few years load shedding has caused
many problems to the power system there by threatening the reliability of the power
system. Some of the challenges are the power security, stability and reliability, and
also all of the monitoring equipment which are used are being operated manually.
This leads to low efficiency, power loss and more time for completing the operation.
By using Smart Grid based monitoring we can overcome the above challenges.
