Respond to Facebook Friend requests

When someone reaches out to friend you, if you accept, immediately reply by messaging them:

“Thanks for your friend request. How can I help you?”

Note: This can turn into paid work, too!

I recently got this response:

“You’re welcome Ellen. I have a non-profit organization that focuses on providing basic educational and healthcare to less fortunate kids. My
goal is to make this a global effort but in doing so I will need presentation tips on how to make the best pitch to potential sponsors.”

Ask for a partnership meeting

A partnership meeting is a great way to start. First mention how you know the person. For example, “I saw that both of us were on so-and-so’s
leaderboard in their last promotion. Would you like to meet on Zoom briefly to see if we could partner/promote each other?”

Or just pitch a specific product

“I’m launching x product on x date and I’d love to have you as an affiliate. With the full funnel, you can earn up to $x per click. Here’s the link to
the sales page/JV page. Would you like a review copy? Let me know if you can promote or if you have any questions.”

Here’s an example of a long pitch from my coach, David Perdew. He did this in a Facebook message:

“I wanted to let you know that we’ve got an exciting launch coming up on Thursday, Aug 29, at 11 AM ET.

It’s called Daily Content Profits. As an easy description we call it a massive checklist that allows users to create a comprehensive content
marketing plan, but truly it’s so much more.

I also highlight the blog roundup with links to everything and all the participants in there too...

Although we include the 46 page checklist as a PDF, we also gives an import file that people can add to a special software tool (free
version) to customize as they wish.

In addition, we’ve added:

2) NAMS Tweet Composer - a nice tool to help you walk through a sales page or blog post and collect tweet snippets to prepare for
automated scheduling and upload using your favorite social media tool like Hootsuite, Buffer or PostBlazer.

3) NAMS Hashtag Manager - another tool created for our team to research appropriate hashtags and group them based on product or
content theme to keep consistency of the message and tap into the right targeted communities.

4) Resource Directory - all the tools and content sources that we use to create, repurpose and distribute our content.

5) BIG BONUS - we'll give an import file or our raw content distribution process that you can import into Process.st and edit for free to
customize for your team

6) Another BIG BONUS - access to our exclusive Social Media Mastery Facebook group where we discuss these tools and others.

Our community LOVES Daily Content Profits so we're launching it the world on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 11 AM ET with a $1500 contest.

The contest runs to Sep. 3, 11:59 PM ET.

But that's not all! From Aug. 29 to Sep. 11, you'll continue to earn increasing bonuses as you continue to make more sales up to
$2500...

If you would like a review copy, we’ll have a zip file for you on Monday with everything in it. Just let me know if you’re interested in
promoting and I’ll get it to you.

Pitch in a Facebook JV group

There are Facebook groups that are solely for pitching an affiliate opportunity. These are pretty hypey, but take a look. At the very least, they’ll
give you an idea of what affiliates are looking for. If this is too much for you, just don’t go there and stick to a more personal, relationship-based
approach. Here are a few:

There are many more.

Turn a pitch into a partnership opportunity

On LinkedIn, someone connected with me and then messaged me:

“Thanks for connecting, Ellen! For background, I work with mission-driven business owners to be more productive and have more time out of
the business. If you’re open to it, I want to share a few strategies that will completely change how you manage your day to get more done. Does
any time this week or next week work for you to have a quick call? “

That’s an invitation to attend a pitch, from the first contact! So instead, I can try to turn it into a partnership opportunity:

“Do you do partnerships? Do you have a free offer that I could see and perhaps share with my list? What else does your list need that I might
help them with?”
