WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Logistics Assistant is base in Yangon under the supervision of the Logistics Manager. The Logistics Assistant
is responsible to carry out Travel, Supply Chain, General Service and archiving. He/ she is responsible to
carry out the mentioned activities in accordance with HI logistics procedures and action plan provided for by
the line manager.
Objective :

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
2- Supply Chain
• Manage stationery stock in Yangon
• Ensure standard documentation and archiving are respected
• Ensure Stock Monitoring Tool is implemented and up-to-date;
• Control store room by receiving stock release order form staffs, issuing goods from store rooms,
cleaning, receiving goods and placing them
3- General Service
• Ensure Office/Guest House Utility payment follow up.
• Assist to Office/ Guest House maintenance follow up.
4- Archiving
• Ensure Logistics standard documentation and archiving are respected
The responsibilities mentioned above are not exhaustive and other work can be required according to
the needs of the Programme. This job description defines the guiding rules and principles specific to the
post which must be respected when carrying out the abovementioned tasks and responsibilities.
Profile:
• Any Diploma or Degree /or relevant experience in
Logistics minimum 1-2 years, preferably in an
International NGO experience minimum 1-2years
Education level/Professional • Experience with travel management (flight and
experience accommodation booking) minimum 1-2 years
• Experience with Supply minimum 1-2 years
• Experience with general service minimum 1-2 years
• Archiving experience minimum 1-2 years
• Good level English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge and practical experience of MS Office Pack
(Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Ability to work in a team and to perform multiple tasks
