Reflective Analysis
I thought that being a teacher was easy
but it is really the opposite of what I am
thinking before. Being a teacher has a big
responsibility specially to the students
because the people around them expected
more to their teachers. The teacher must
be flexible and skillful so that he or she
might be more effective as a teacher.
Being a teacher was totally not easy. I
imagine that it was a mixed emotion
because sometimes it was hard because
of some students who are hardheaded and
another reason is more paper works but
sometimes it was fun because of the good
bond with the students and when someone
appreciate your effort as a teacher. On the
other hand, I believe that if the teacher
enjoys what she or he is doing, all the
hardship may become lighter. The teacher
needs to be more knowledgeable among
students to share more knowledge and be
a good role model because many eyes see
you. You can easily judge by others for
every action you will make so that be
careful.
I learned the teacher should not just teach
the lesson but the main goal is to imply the
learnings to the students or the students
must learn something from you at the of
the day. The teacher must have a good
communication skill so that the students
understand him or her. Also, being a
teacher, you must prepare yourself for the
different kinds of behavior that you might
encounter inside the classroom because
you will never know them immediately in
just one look. The teacher must have a
concrete or reliable learning materials so
that the teaching process might be
effective and also aim to have an
interactive communication between
students and teachers. Teachers are not
just a facilitator. They need to make the
students into a realization the they also
need to learn on their own to be more
resilient in the surroundings. More than
just academic knowledge is needed for
successful teaching. You must be able to
communicate with others and assist them
in grasping a new perspective on life. This
is not a simple task. Despite the fact that
there are several different approaches to
teach efficiently, strong teachers have a
few characteristics. They are well-
prepared, have clear and reasonable
standards, have a good outlook, are
patient with pupils, and regularly evaluate
their teaching. They should adapt their
teaching methods to the students as well
as the content, understanding that
students learn in different ways. You are a
role model that sets the tone for the class
as a teacher. Your pupils are more likely to
reciprocate if you can demonstrate passion
and dedication. When you are pessimistic,
unprepared, or impatient, your students
will show these traits in their attitudes.
