Left:Temperature and dew-point temperature at the place marked in the right figure. The dew-point indicates the
temperature, at which water vapour condensates. As long as the temperature of the component is everywhere above the dew
point, no condensation occurs. If the curves have contact, condensation occurs at the corresponding position.
Right: The component, drawn to scale.

Moisture proofing
For the calculation of the amount of condensation water, the component was exposed to the following constant climate for
90 days: inside: 20°C und 50% Humidity; outside: 5°C und 100% Humidity (Climate according to user input).
Under these conditions, a total of 0,010 kg of condensation water per square meter is accumulated. This quantity dries in
summer in 20 days (Drying season according to DIN 4108-3:2018-10).
Commercial use only with Plus-, PDF- or Profi-Option (from 2.99 € / month plus VAT).

Humidity
The temperature of the inside surface is 20,0 °C leading to a relative humidity on the surface of 30%.Mould formation is not
expected under these conditions.
The following figure shows the relative humidity inside the component.

Notes: Calculation using the Ubakus 2D-FE method. Convection and the capillarity of the building materials
were not considered. The drying time may take longer under unfavorable conditions (shading, damp / cool
summers) than calculated here.

heating level
Heat output into the interior (heating output): approx. 34 W/m².
The heating plane leads to increased heat losses to the outside and can be taken into account with an effective U-value
(Ueff):
Effective u-value: 0,30 W/m²K (Energy loss of the heated component)
This document has been generated by the U-value calculator on www.ubakus.de. If you are harmed by the free use of these contents, the service provider is only liable in case of
outside:
At the assumed temperatures of room air, outside air and heating plane, the heat loss to the outside corresponds to an
identical but unheated component with an U-value of Ueff =0,30 W/m²K.
Temperature of the inside surface (min/average/max): 28,4 / 28,5 / 28,8 °C
These values are based on an average water temperature in the heating plane of 30 °C, a room temperature of 20 °C and an
outside temperature of 5 °C.
