Extreme sports such as sky diving and skiing are very dangerous and should be banned.

To what
extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

In the contemporary world, it is argued that because of extreme sports’ risks, such as sky
diving and skiing, it needs to be forbidden. My personal view is that if required measures
such as preventive equipment and professional training have been provided, these sports
would not be very dangerous. Moreover, I disagree that it should be banned because of
athlete’s adrenalin and commercial benefits.

First and foremost, professional athletes use all equipment’s such as helmets which helps
extreme sports to be less dangerous. To be more specific, because of high standards of
modern equipages sportsmen’s life is well protected. For instance, helmets made from high
quality materials can protect even from strong damages to head and prevent injury to brain.
In addition to this, professional sportsmen train intensively before competitions in order to
avoid injures. Indeed, were all the professional athletes to train wisely and follow
instructions of instructor, no one would be injured from these sports.

Moreover, adrenaline hormones are being produced by athletes and even audience during
extreme sports competition, which is very beneficial and crucial for human’s health.
Adrenaline plays an important role in individuals’ organism by increasing blood flow to
muscles in order to reduce stress and alter metabolism. Additionally, this type of sports has
commercial benefits that people working in this industry earn money to maintain their
families. In a broader sense, banning extreme sports will definitely lead a sharp increase in
unemployment rate.

In conclusion, in my personal view, I strongly believe that extreme sports are not very
dangerous and it should not be banned in terms of health and financial advantages.
