Searching is indeed one-of-a-kind stories I’ve watched.

A quick look back to the story plot is about a

happy and complete family that was shown on a computer not until when Margot’s mom was diagnosed
with lymphoma and suddenly died. Margot is not that close to his dad; she doesn’t want to chat or have
facetime time with him and doesn’t follow him. Until the night when Margot, missed calling his dad that
is already asleep. When he woke up, strange things happened. Margot went missing and his dad, David
Kim is finding her through the internet and her social media accounts. Called an investigator to help him
find her daughter until the result happened that her daughter was been killed by an addict but when his
dad saw fish_n_chips’ profile is same as the funeral home’s model, he wanted to ask Vick (the
investigator) to investigate further but the one answered the call Is different and spilled that Vick just
volunteered in investigating the case. Later on, they found out that Vick just covered up her son’s
mistake that accidentally pushes Margot down the ravine.

The PLOT TWIST, in the end, is the one who made me WOW to this movie because that scenario wasn’t
expected to pop up since the case is already finished. If there is one thing, I realized from the movie
itself is that TECHNOLGY is very powerful. From the beginning of the movie until the end, technology is
the one being used. From saving the memories of their family to the death of David Kim’s wife to the
daily conversation of David and Margot, in finding out that David’s daughter Margot is missing, to the
investigation and in knowing what is the true story happened is because of technology. If David Kim is
not able to further investigate in knowing the truth with the help of Margot’s accounts with the help of
technology, I am a hundred percent sure that the truth will remain hidden and Margot will just die in the
ravine because of hunger. Also, because of technology that David used, it helped him in finding the leads
and to investigate what is the real deal about. I remembered in the film that David interviewed a black
girl that was the last person joined by Margot because of their group study denied that she and Margot
are not close and she does not know Margot well because it is just quite but when the news spread, she
posted a video in YouTube crying and saying that she lost a best friend. Meaning, technology has also a
bad side. It can be used for fame and for telling lies. Also, one of that is what Vick did, making a fake ID
and faking the shreds of evidence but in the end, the truth shall prevail.

There are a lot of morals in this story. (1) It shows that a stronger relationship between a parent and a
child (vice versa) is very important. (2) Technology has a lot of advantages and disadvantages. (3) We
should have better communication with each other and (4) Never stop in finding the truth. If I were to
rate this movie, I will rate it 10. It is one of the movies I have watched with the rarest story concept and
story flow. From the title itself to the main focus of the story. To cinematography and audio being used
will surely make you feel the scene they are portraying. The actors of the movie who made justice to
their roles and lastly to the lesson we will get in this story are very superb for me. With all honestly and
satisfaction, this movie is a must-watch and highly recommended. Bravo to all the producer, director,
staff, crews, and all the people behind the film.
