WHY DOES THE FUTURE NEED US?

It is interesting to think about what will happen in the future or predict the future’s lifestyle and
technologies based on what is happening today. We all know that today’s generation is more advanced in
technology. People would rather choose to make their work easier than use the indigenous knowledge or
traditional practices that were done by indigenous people in history. In this new generation, their lives depend
on technology, which is inevitable in their everyday lives. The future needs humans as much as today. If the
future do not need humans, the earth would not be called the earth. Technologies will not function if there is no
human presence. Like in the movie that I have watched, which I think predicted the future. In the movie, David
is a childlike robot that can love and have feelings and emotions. All his life, he just wanted to feel loved by his
known mother, Monica, since the moment that Monica activated him as her son even though it is a happy
ending for David but for me it is a sad story because David waited 2000 years just to meet her mother again
but he only felt his mother’s love for just one day. There is a chance that this story of David will take place in
reality in the future. Time will come that humans will create a robot like David, capable of feeling love and pain.
The more humans need technology, the more technology needs humans to function. Because humans
invented technologies, they should also be capable of repairing them and love them as well. People should be
responsible for what they have done. This is why the future need us or should we say, this is “why future
technology need human”.
