Black Mirror:

When Technology goes beyond

In the modern world, everything has to do about technology

and technological advancement, that’s why every task in our daily
lives have improved making them easier in every way, things as
simple as keeping the track of time have become one of the easiest
things to do, or if we go further than that, the way we communicate
right know would have been unthinkable in the early civilizations.

We are able to live different worlds by either being a part of

them or just watching them unfold in front of our eyes, also, we can
communicate with people from all around the world, it can be our
family or our friends and even make new friends without even
seeing them first.

That’s what Black mirror uses to its advantage. The show is

the literal representation of the Black Mirrors we use in our everyday
lives (phones, television and smart watches), the show uses this
screens to present a situation that could happen in the near future,
and always takes into account how the main character of that
situation would react to the decisions he/she would have to make,
almost always in the worst way.

In my opinion, the main point of this show is to prove how

some kind of technology can be presented as the best thing
invented, but they add a twist, what if this type of technology is used
in THIS way?, it usually involves turning this situation to a dark and
horrible outcome not just for the sake of it, but based on the
decisions the main protagonist make and how its behavior can
transform this situation.
In conclusion, Black Mirror is a television show that represents
human beings in their primary state, a selfish and self-preserved
being that can only think in how a situation can be the best for
he/she, but no matter what they do, what goes around, comes
around.
