SESSION / ABSTRACT

It is widely spread that our students are digital natives, there is no arguing about that.
The problem is, perhaps, that there is such a wide range of technological devices, apps
and websites that sometimes we, teachers, find ourselves lost when deciding how to
incorporate ICTs into our didactic units or projects. However, once we find a very
appealing and motivating resource, we have to make the most of it. This academic year I
have experienced the power of Chroma Key and Augmented Reality and I amdelighted
to share it with you all.

Through their use, students have the opportunity not only to explore the world in a
different, really encouraging and unique way, but we will also foster their creativity and
innovation. Without a doubt, they will enjoy a meaningful, enriching and interactive
learning.

Come to this practical workshop and you will learn how to use a specific Chroma Key
software (it is way easier than you think!) and its didactic applications. Along with that,
we will approach Augmented Reality and I will present to you different activities that you
can carry out with your students. You will experiment with both of them first-hand and…
we will play a lot!
