With this letter I would like to express interest in the Master in Financial Engineering
program in the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University starting this September, I aspire to
enter the program and I am confident that my strong academic background in Finance
will fulfill your requirements.

Having a high school diploma in mathematics and being naturally inclined to numbers I
have always felt like I can excel in a computing orientated career, more than that
considering the major trends of modern, world where business plays a crucial role, and
my set towards mathematics, soon I felt an exceptional interest in finance. Since then, I
am eager to build my life in a way that will allow me to work in this sphere.

In 2016, aiming to turn my dream into reality, I passed all the necessary admission exams
and was accepted In the Master in Finance Control and Audit In the university of Sidi
Mohamed Ben Abdallah, which provides a great deal of academic knowledge in Finance.
In 2018 I graduated from the university with distinction.

Over the course of the years following my Master’s studies I had the chance to intern in
various firms mainly in the accounting and audit department, there I got a chance to
finally put acquired knowledge into practice and see how the things work, my latest work
experience in a fiduciary firm was the most profitable for me as it allowed my skills to
sharpen even further, especially financial advising, accounting, tax compliance and
project analysis and evaluation. Above all else this work experience inspired me to try
myself as a financial analyst as my interested for mathematics was once again sparked by
the experience.

At this point I am still unable to make the shift from accounting to finance, mainly due to
my academic background, as my Master degree is orientated to the accounting/audit and
compliance side.

In order to accomplish my goals, I was looking for an appropriate university paying

special attention to quantitative issues due to my penchant for mathematics. As I found
out, your very respected university provides in-depth teaching of quantitative aspects of
finance. Add to that the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University has a strong set of
corporate partners and a vigorous career services department.

In view of the foregoing, I concluded that this university is perfect for me. I will have the
opportunity to live in the adorable city of Rabat while acquiring knowledge and skills
essential to pursue my dream. Therefore, I desperately wish to be accepted. Considering
my ambition and background in finance, I am confident that I can match your credentials
and maintain high standards at your university.
