Characteristics

Sea cucumbers are marine animals of the Holothuroidea class. They are used in fresh or dry form in different kitchens. In some cultural
contexts, it is believed that sea cucumber has medicinal value.

The sea cucumber, originally from Peru, is cylindrical in shape and elongated like a cucumber. Its name indicates it, they belong to the
group of echinoderms, which includes the stars and sea urchins.
