• A social networking website for teachers/staff;
• SAT will be a social community whereby teachers/staff are able to connect and
engage with each other.
• Teachers/staff and schools should all have a login or should have an option to login via
Facebook.

• By using the “advanced search filter’ they can narrow down the search to find specific
teacher by:

 Teachers can bookmark other teachers/ed. org (to view later)

 On homepage once you log in it will also show people you may know

TEACHERS
Teachers/can register and build their profile
other teachers/staff or anyone looking at the website can view teachers’ profile (see
pdf 1.8)

Manage account. Users login to their dashboards and manage their accounts. They can
create, modify, delete and inactive the following:

 Profile/resume (select view options: public or private).

 Build their profile by upload CV, files (e.g. word, pdfs) and photos, have web-link to
other personal information e.g. website. Blog, LinkedIn and twitter accounts.

 Contact information – people can send email to them (need to be logged in). Email
must also be forward to their personal email e.g. Hotmail, yahoo etc. This will tell
them they have an email.

 When creating a profile/resume, a user can select or enter tags to highlight his skills
and selling points

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION

• Full content management (CMS): this means I can edit, add, delete etc and arrange the order
of listings (in advanced filter and horizontal tabs), full information and control of subscriber.
CMS must reflect design of website.
• Keep a data file of subscribers for email purpose.
• SEO in mind when being built
