A part of the mammalogy research group at St. Lawrence University. This research group is
centered around analyzing camera trap data that we gather on local wildlife species with the traps
we set. We use R-Studio to process this data.

Experience:

Agro-Ecosystem Internship, St. Lawrence University Sustainability Farm, Canton New York.
Summer 2021, full-time.
 Lived on St. Lawrence Universities sustainability farm for five weeks learning about
agro-ecology
 Practiced some of this knowledge-set in the farm work performed
 Did animal and garden chores
 Did biodiversity surveys on different sites within the farm
 Explored the inequities within our food systems

Intern At WildCare, WildCare, Eastham Massachusetts. Summer 2020, full-time.


 Interned for eight weeks at WildCare, a nonprofit wildlife clinic/rehabilitation center on Cape
Cod
 Did various animal husbandry tasks such as feeding and providing medicine, cleaning,
observing my boss and the veterinarians that would come in and treat the animals
 Would do patient intake as well as transporting animals to other facilities for further
treatment
 Would open the clinic by myself at 6am and work by myself with the animals until 9am
when other staffers came in
Lab Assistant, St. Lawrence University, Canton New York. Spring 2021.
 Help take care of the lab rats and mice used for experimentation and observation at St.
Lawrence University
 Check on them every day and provide them with food and water, as well as cleaning their
cages and surrounding environment when necessary 

Shadowed Veterinarian, Mill Brook Animal Clinic, Arlington Massachusetts, Fall 2018.
 Shadowed my local veterinarian after school 1-3 times a week during my senior fall.
 Looked at slides under the microscope and worked on identifying different cells
 Observed the vet and animals during appointments
o Although I am not studying to be a veterinarian I think that veterinary medicine is
integral in developing new strategies that benefit animals, humans, and the planet. I
also just enjoy getting to work with animals and their families, as well as study
veterinary sciences.
