Reviewing anti-Corruption and the role of NAB

GOOD MORNING,

Ladies and Gentlemen, I Amir Liaqat is here to express my point of view

in anti-corruption and the role of NAB. Yes, MR President NAB Which
Means National Accountability Bureau Which is Pakistan’s Top anti-
corruption Organization. It has the responsibility of eliminating
corruption through creating awareness.it has its Head Quarter in
Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, sukkhar, Peshawar and Quetta. In
February 2002 NAB Launched the National Anticorruption Strategy
Project. The NACS team conducted broad based surveys, studied
external models of international anti-corruption agencies and involve
local stakeholders. MR President NAB only have only one Vision That
the National Accountability Bureau is to be a credible, effective,
efficient and Dynamic anti-corruption organization creating and
enabling environment for a corrupt free society. NAB was established
on 16 November 1999.

NAB has two principal officers the Chairman and the Prosecutor
General. The Current Chairman of NAB is Justice Retired Javed Iqbal.
The Chairman is the Head of Investigations and serves four years Term
Whereas the Prosecutor General Serves a three-year term. This
institution has recovered 4 billion US dollars from the Country’s elite
politicians, bureaucrats, military officers and those involved in white
collar crime.
MR President the cases under NAB are 179. In the above mention
cases, the cases which are linked with the Politicians. The current
Special cases are on EX Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif
and Former President Asif Ali Zardari.

MR President the cases on Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif are Al-

Aziziya Reference Case and Panama Papers which include his family.
The Panama Paper was filed on him by Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi the
Current PM of Pakistan. The Cases on Asif Ali Zardari and his Son
Bilawal Bhutto are Park Lane Case and Fake Bank Account is another
case on him. The Park Lane Estate is a Karachi Based real estate firm.
NAB Started this Case on Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto for illegal
transferring forest land to the firm with some Government officials.
NAB states that records Shows that Bilawal and Zardari own 50% of the
shares in park lane company. The fake Bank Accounts case is of Money
Laundering this include his Sister Faryal Talpur. There are 29 fake
accounts registered in Summit bank, Sindh bank and united bank and
such Street food stall owners who were not aware of this.

Dear Delegates,
NAB and Government has faced so much criticism from Opposition
Parties like (PMLN) and (PPP) that they are just filing cases only against
the Prominent members of opposition. But MR President I am telling
you that NAB has a very positive roles in these issues and it does not
have any links with PTI and Imran khan. It is a free working
Organization. But also, it has cases on the Government officials Like
Aleem Khan and Pervaiz Khattak and I Amir Liaqat thinks that NAB is
putting a very important role to stop the corruption. Firstly, the thing is
that NAB was made by the PMLN Government. But now when it started
cases against them then they said that “NAB AIK KALA KANOON HAI”.
Dear All,
When Imran khan started his election campaign then the only Slogan
he raised was corruption and want a corruption free zone. The NAB is
free like they have also filed a case against the current PM.I Amir Liaqat
has full faith on his country’s courts.

Health issues due to corruption.

Respected Delegates,
Pakistan is facing so many health issues due corruption because the
budget given to the people for the hospital have been eaten by them
they don’t even care for the other people of Pakistan that they also
have kids and they can face such serious problems. But no one thinks,
and the elite class go out of country and have treatments in big
hospitals. We can see the example of Nawaz Sharif that how he dodged
the courts of Pakistan and now he is not coming back and eating foods
at restaurants. Dear all this was only to go out of country and be safe
from the Cases. PTI government has worked a lot for the hospitals like
Shaukat Khanum Hospital in which there is a free treatment of cancer
patients I ask the previous government officials that what they have
done for the health of this country.
Education crises in Pakistan due to corruption

Resected Delegates,
A very important issue in Pakistan now a days is the crises of education
in Pakistan due to corruption in the educational sector. The people who
got the money to renovate the schools are eating the money freely and
when there is someone who ask about the money is then a person who
is with Government and want the prominent politicians in Jail if you
don’t Want to go to the jail then don’t do such acts that you have to be
punished. First think about your sins. I have seen such cases in which
the weddings are in the government school and the kids have to do the
arrangements sometimes the teachers take off and someone on their
position to teach kids, but that person don’t even know the English
alphabets. What’s going on yes MR President what’s going on. This is
the reason that the percentage of educated people are less in Pakistan.
Major issues caused by corruption
Lacking down of economy:
Pakistan’s economy is lacking down now a days because of corruption
and the stealing of income tax and others therefore the prices of Dollar
are increasing. First in government of PMLN and PPP we haven’t got so
much tax but now the government and have made some changes in the
policies and in result we are now getting a huge amount of tax.
