function as a society. From the way we think, learn, interact, produce things or in general-how we accomplish our goals
to our day-to-day lives; technology has a vast part on it and its role in the contemporary society is difficult to
underestimate.

I’m <YOYR NAME> and for today’s video I’m going to share my knowledge regarding the impacts of technology in
shaping our society through the years. A brief definition of technology according to oxford language dictionary is the
advances of technology that was applies through industrial and mechanical use. The development of scientific
knowledge that applies technology emancipates a larger yet a proficient useful way. Well let me ask you what are the
examples of technologies we used every day, there’s laptop, tablet, smartphones, and even our appliances inside our
home.

For a student like me and from my own view point, technology have helped me enough within my studies especially in
my educational schedule as of this pandemic suddenly popped up and online and modular learning have been
happened. The risk of taking education within the traditional outlook that we usually familiar with will way behind. The
use of technology is further in need within this set up. Personal Computers, Phones and the internet- these technologies
offered a much easier way of obtaining knowledge. It also allows us to be connected online especially when some of our
relatives are away, we make use of zoom and google meet were some examples. Think about how these technologies
have altered from the last 10 years in the industry. From iphone 4 to iphone 12 pro max, from MS-DOS to Windows 10
and so on. Who would have thought that these inventions would change the way we do things traditionally and make

makes a business productive. Managers and supervisors can multitask now because they can be reached at any time if
needed, it is also a big help in the business industry which will create an innovative and much larger used, especially in
advertising and selling online It has also done marketing into the business it is today. It has made it so simple to
advertise a new product. It is no wonder that modern technology has become the “current vernacular” because it is
essential to use to stay competitive in this free market society.

All the benefits these wondrous technologies provide is more than can be numbered. According to some articles I have
read, technologies that haven’t yet been invented will solve the problems that aren’t even problems yet which was
undeniably true.

On the contrary note, these innovations are also considered as a threat to our society. For instance, to our laborers,
technology became an alternative to these companies/factories for the reason that investing on expensive machines will
cost them lesser than the monthly salaries they provide on their several laborers. It became a hindrance because it
reduces the availability of manpower and manufacturers rely on the technological advancement when it comes to
production.

Children nowadays at a young age have been more incline to gadgets, they even often do outdoor activities but instead
much fonder of playing video games and they are the most vulnerable victims of cybercrimes, malware and harmful sites
that will easily attract children with a worldly activity.

There is no doubt that these remarkable technologies invented by human minds, from the first invention of technology
made by stone to the evolution of technology we indulge today that helps us shapes the advocacy of development in the
