Payment File Stuck In Status 'Created And Ready For Formatting' (Doc ID 2755741.1)

SYMPTOMS

On : 11.13.20.10.0 version, Process Payables Payments


When attempting to enable 'Create payment files immediately' and check payment process request, the following error occurs.

appears under Requiring Attention having a status as Created and ready for formatting

STEPS

-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Enable 'Create payment files immediately

2. Submit PPR

3. Payment Process Request appears under Requiring Attention having a status as Created and ready for formatting
4. Users have to click on Action and then click on 'Format' for successfully transmitting the payment file to the server.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:


Due to this issue, users has to make an additional
step and the expectation is that after 'Review Installment', the payment file
should be automatically created and transmitted without further manual intervention.

CAUSE

In this scenario, if the payment batch is resulting in to multiple payment files, application will format the first payment file and
will wait for the formatting of the remaining payment files.
 

This is expected behavior.


SOLUTION

If you do not attach the payment document, then application will automatically format all the payment files.

System will need Payment document number confirmation on PPP and this is intended for the current system configuration. As
the PPP is Electronic, Please de-activate the payment document on bank account and confirm us if the files are getting
formatted automatically
