SAFETY PROCEDURES GUIDELINES

YOUR SAFETY HAS ALWAYS BEEN OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY
As academies slowly open and we take to the mats once more, it is important that you feel reassured and
confident about your wellbeing when you compete with us.
Find out about the measures we are taking to protect you at every step of your competition.
BEFORE THE COMPETITION
Depending on the regulations in each location, competition will happen behind
closed doors and with limited athletes or attendees. *Check each events
information.

Specific training for athletes, coaches and staff about the Event Guidelines &
Regulations before the competition such as usage of PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment), athletes assessment, schedule and process. This training will be
conducted online.

To maintain social distancing we will have one entrance and one exit with spaced
floor stickers, and we will reduce the number of people able to enter the venue.

The athletes will be instructed at the moment of registration to check their body
temperature regularly and often both before the tournament day and
throughout the day itself.

Our flexible registrations gives you the option to refund your competition fee as
per our regulations .
WEIGH IN
Only people who are competing can enter the venue (Entry will be maximum
1 hour before their category starts).

Athletes and coaches will pass through a thermal scanner that looks similar to
the metal detectors at airport security. They will then be given a complimentary
hygiene kit containing gloves, a face mask, antibacterial wipes and hand
sanitizer. +In case of a body temperature exceeding 37.5 degrees Celsius, the
individual will not be allowed access to the venue.

We will add spacing stickers on the floor to help everyone maintain a safe
distance in the queue.

Our staff will be wearing a mask and gloves, and you will need to wear a mask
when you weigh in. You don’t have to wear gloves, but it is recommended.
WA R M U P
Hand sanitizer available for all.

Our Staff will be wearing PPE and you will need to keep your mask on except
when warming up, fighting, at the podium, eating or drinking.

Cleaning teams will sanitize the washrooms after each use and frequently
sanitize points of contact.

You are requested to wash your hands at regular intervals.

D U R I N G T H E M ATC H
It is our top priority to maintain strict levels of hygiene on the mats and they
will be cleaned often by a team from a specialized company.

We are taking every precaution to mitigate contact before matches, including

closing spectator seats and scheduling the entries of individual categories.
We will also be following all guidance from local health authorities along with
our additional safety measures to reduce the risk of infection. This includes
our modified services, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting, and ensuring that
everyone wears PPE.
PODIUM
Athletes must leave the venue immediately after finishing their participation
in the tournament.

It's not mandatory for athletes to keep the masks on while receiving their
medals at the podium. However it's mandatory to keep it on in the waiting
area.
WE WILL BE MONITORING THE LATEST HEALTH
DEVELOPMENTS AND REGULARLY REVIEW
AND ENHANCE OUR SAFETY MEASURES.
