PTS2000 Page/Talk communication system is a
distribute amplifier system. The system operates
dependably, strongly and conveniently. It is
constituted by the indoors, outdoors etc. It offers
paging and talking two major functions. All
stations are electrically paralleled by double
twisted pair wire. Therefore it is established and
expanded easily. Both indoor and outdoor include
two amplifiers (one for the handset and the other
to drive one or more paging speakers). Good
planning lead the system work well, and avoid
the bad affecting other units when each one increased,
removed or break down.
Installation & Operation
A01 outdoor station is made up of panel and
enclosure, and is often used in bad environment.
All openings should be drilled before mounting
the enclosure, and must add clips. Then fix the
enclosure, and unload the panel. Wiring the
power and signal line, and then returning the
plug-in amplifier. It is unnecessary mounting
the enclosure and wiring the line again, and only
replace the plug-in amplifier when the system
maintained. The key on the handset has two
functions (one is paging, the other is talking). Lift
the handset from the cradle, depress and hold the
handset press-bar, then speak directly into the
P/T and microphone to broadcast your announcement
over the loudspeakers. Get back the talking
function when releasing the press-bar. The unit
should set mute if the paging state bring out
noises.

Summary Installation & Operation

PTS2000 Page/Talk communication system is a
distribute amplifier system. The system operates
dependably, strongly and conveniently. It is
constituted by the indoors, outdoors etc. It
offers paging and talking two major functions.
All stations are electrically paralleled by double
twisted pair wire. Therefore it is established and
expanded easily. Both indoor and outdoor
include two amplifiers (one for the handset and
the other to drive one or more paging speakers).
Good planning lead the system work well, and
avoid affecting other units when each one
increased, removed or break down.
Introduction
The main difference among B02, B03, B04
indoor stations is that B03 has a inside balance
assembly, B02 and B04 haven’t. Its function is
to properly load the page and talk line circuits.
Each of B02, B03, B04 has a handset and B02,
B04 also can choose earphone jack. Inside
trumpet or outside indoor horn for paging. B02,
B03’s drive the power of outside horn is 6W
and B04 is 12W.
Indoor station is made up of panel and box, and
is often used indoor industrial environment. All
openings should be drilled before mounting the
enclosure, and must add clips. Then fix the box,
and unload the panel. Wiring the power and
signal line, and then returning the plug-in
amplifier. It is unnecessary mounting the
enclosure and wiring the line again, and only
replace the plug-in amplifier when the system
maintained. Lift the handset from the cradle,
depress and hold the handset press-bar, the
paging function is alive. Both sides release the
key when the called one picks up the nearest
handset, and begin 2-way talking. The unit
should set mute if the paging state bring out
noises. And the operator can also choose the
earphone talking.
PTS2000 communication system requires only
one balance assembly. And it should be placed
near the electrical center of the system. When
there are several indoor stations in a system, it
requires one B03 and chooses B02 or B04 for
all the others. Using the separated balance
assembly F01 if the system hasn’t indoor
stations or B03 location is not proper.

The difference between C01 and C02 is listed in
the specification. C01 will be used when it
connect with D01, and C02 must connect with
D02. The desk-edge stations has inside trumpet,
outside horn and handset amplifier. The
functions of paging and talking are realized by
desk-edge mike. The stations has the function
of identify mute automatically, ensuring outside
horn properly broadcast in any occasions. When
using the desk-edge mike to paging, inside

trumpet will be silenced automatically. But
When other stations are paging, it will broadcast
properly. The function validity avoid the noise
caused by the feedback to the inside trumpet
and handset microphone. Products mainly
applied in the center of system command,
driving room and other important sites.
Installation & Operation
Desk-edge station is made up of panel and box.
It should be installed 1.5~2 meters from the
desk-edge mike, to let the operator listen clearly
from the inside trumpet. All openings should be
drilled before mounting the enclosure, and
must add clips. Then fix the box, and unload the
panel. Wiring the power and signal line, and
then returning the plug-in amplifier. It is
unnecessary mounting the enclosure and wiring
the line again, and only replace the plug-in
amplifier when the system maintained. C01
and D01 must be linked by H01 line. C02 and
D02 must be linked by H04 line. H01,H04 is
the standard accessory of the mike. When H01,
H04 are laid, they should be away from big
power lines as far as possible.

removed or break down.
Introduction
There are the goose neck microphone (15mm(Φ)
×510mm(L)) and 3-select switch on the top of
the desk-edge mike. There is a handset in front
of the mike. And there is a desk-edge station jack
in the rear of the mike. D02 can link foot-control
switch and interphone. Product is applied mainly
in the system command center, driving room and
other important places. Products mainly applied
in the center of system command, driving room
and other important sites.
The installation of the desk-edge mike is very
convenient. The right installation position
should make the speaker near the goose neck
microphone, operating 3-select switch and using
handset conveniently. The right side, left side
and bottom of the mike have positioning hole.
Tighten two M5 screws to mount the mike on or
side of the desk. Connect D and C with the line
H (accessory), and laying the line should be
away from big power lines as far as possible.
Using the foot-control switch & interphone jack
with H05 line if choose the functions of
foot-control switch and car interphone.
The function of paging is realized by mike or
handset, and talking is accomplished by handset
only. The foot-control switch can start the mike.
3-select switch respectively control three states:
mike, handset, close (D01) or interphone (D02).

Caution (using D02)

To cause a short circuit in pin 1 & 2 of jack GX16-7 without foot-control switch, otherwise the mike can’t work.
