Description:

This project aims to develop applications to make retail business more robust and flexible in Latin
America region. Application Flex promotion takes care of promotions in all the store models of the
client in Mexico. Business offers special discount and flexible payment options through various
mechanism for the customers making payment through credit cards, this activity is known as
promotion. Store finance team creates different promotions for different item categories in various
typs of tores (Supercentre, Bodega) in partenership with banks and marketing groups. These
Promotion details are fetched and processed through a batch suit which starts at 21:00 hours to
create XML promotional files which contains information like store number, item catalogue, validity
of promotions, type of promotions. These XML files are sent to POS (point of sale interface) to

procees it further and apply on items at store level before 02:00 AM so that promotion activity can
start when store opens in morning.

● Developing the programs as per the design document.

client’s Mexico and some parts of Latin America business. We also monitor the bacth process of
Payroll of Mexico.Some of the applications are EDI, EPAY, EFT, SACVE, GL, SFE1 etc.

Description:
Our client is a retail giant, this project includes development of jobs and programs that process
the E-commerce items of organisation and send them to the TIBCO. There are various kind of
clusters to which items belongs for example SFS, MG and Groceries. Based on the rules of
business we need to code or change the existing codes to apply those rules. These rules will
change frequently according to the business.
Rules will be based on promotional offers and perishable items etc. For example, consider the
items of SUPERAMA (One business of client). This includes the items for home delivery. There are
certain rules for these items like only the items belongs to certains store should appear, the
discount should be certain percentage of total cost (regularly changes). Items of certain
departments in the stores should be included ans so on. Inorder to fulfill these items we need to
code the programs and JCLs.

● Requirement gathereing and analyzing.

● Changes in the code according to rules mentioned in the requirements.
