As per VIT Academic Regulations, students have to appear for all the components of
the Arrear registered Courses, i.e., even for the passed components, reappearance
is a must.
Arrear exam - theory schedule is available for the student in VTOP login and all the
registered courses (Theory/lab/project)
ReFAT student has to write the exam only for the approved components and
no need to write for the cleared/not approved components.
Arrear – Theory
Arrear Theory will be conducted through vit.codetantra.com along with FAT - UGF
exams by the centralized way. Refer & Follow Regular FAT SOP for this.
For Lab only Courses (in excel, highlighted with Green), it is better to conduct
during 28th June to 30th June in the Afternoon Sessions as there is minimal Arrear
Exams scheduled, hence most of these students will be free.
The students can download the question paper and start writing the answers. At the
end of the lab Exam, students need to upload the scanned answer sheets in PDF
format in MS Team.
Maximum marks : 50
Exam Duration : 1 Hour for Lab and 30 Minutes for J Components
Exams for the Lab/J components need to be conducted again through MS Teams on
the same day as per the convenience of the examiner and examinees.
Video Recording of all the Exams has to be downloaded and reloaded in the MS Team Server
like regular class videos for future reference.
Once the exam is over, download the answer scripts and complete the evaluation. You can
use the annotation features available in Microsoft Edge Browser for evaluation.
Arrear Mark Entry option - VTOP
Arrear Mark Entry option has been enabled in V-Top. You can download the
attendance sheet and use it for your reference.
For Theory Components, once you complete the valuation in Codetantra and Freeze
it, Marks will be made available in your login as a separate file. The original mark
received from Codetantra would be converted to 100 and made available for your
convenience. However you need to manually enter marks and generate the Foil card
at the earliest for all the components.
