ENGINEERING DATA ANALYSIS

2nd Semester
A.Y: 2020-2021

Bersabal, Raniel C.
BSME 2B

Part I. One problem for All Tools

Problem: The students was assigned to do an experimental research for his final out in
research paper. He invented a simple machine that will help him to finish his work.
Collecting data from the result of 10 different samples, he tested it for durability and
effectiveness of the machine and also the costing of the machine. Then, he wants to
determine the following;
1. Spearman’s Rank
2. Kendall’s Coefficient Concordance
3. Pearson Moment Correlation
4. Linear Regression

Spearman’s Rank
Problem: The mechanical students made a four-stroke engine for his project. But
he needs to test his engine before to present to his instructors. He asks 10 students
to rate his engine by performing 2 tests. Then he wants to measures the
relationship of the 2 variables for his engine.

Problem: The students perform an activity which they use a drill machine for their activity. The
students need to finished the work in a certain time and it will present to 3 instructors for
checking. They want to determine if the rater has no agreement and have agreement base on
the work done.

bike with motors.

Problem: The students are collecting data from 10 students of engineering for their study about
the machine shop. The students answered the questions about effectiveness of actual
