At the doctor's office

The next conversation is at the doctor´s office, between Manuel, who is a patient, and Doctor
Martinez. The patient talks about his symptoms and the doctor has to prescribe medicines.

 Patient: Good afternoon, Doctor Martinez

 Doctor: Good afternoon, Manuel. How can I help you?
 Patient: Well, I feel dizzy and weak. I also have a headache.
 Doctor: Do you eat lots of sweets?
 Patient: Yes. I eat candies and drink soda because I love them so much. They are
my passion.
 Doctor: You have to eat less sugar.
 Patient: Really? But I love sweets! I have to eat them because they make me feel
good.
 Doctor: Do you have any other symptoms?
 Patient: Well, I have to tell you that I feel sleepy all the time.
 Doctor: Ok. I have to check your pulse.
 Patient: Perfect!
 Doctor: Your pulse is fine. Are you allergic to any medications?
 Patient: No, I´m not.
 Doctor: So, I have to prescribe you some painkillers for the headaches. You
have to take 1 tablet for three days. You also have to get a blood test and rest for
some days.
 Patient: I promise I will.
 Doctor: Come back with the results and I have to give you the diagnosis and the
real treatment.
 Patient: Thank you doctor. Have a good day.
