Background
in a big network traffic on your network has increased tremendously, which cause network to
perform slower. this problem can be overcome by subnetting network. While subnetting takes some
planning and can be time consuming, it’s well worth the effort as there are more benefits to
consider.

Objectives
 Creating a network using router, switches and PC’s
 Using VLAN creating different VLANs
 Subnetting using class A

Scope
ease of administration, Control network growth, confinement of broadcast domains, reduced
broadcast traffic, and enforcement of security policies

NETWORKING DESCRPTION
The following networking will be developed in this project

Description: 6 vlans will be used for this project with subnetting mask of Class A and total number
of routers will be 8 , VLAN simplified the network and make it easy to set up .When users
physically move workstations, it can be keep in same network. Subnetting reduces congestion and
boost network security.
