II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

1. Rationale

The Organic Native Chicken Meat and Egg Production Project is a beneficial
project to the students, to the whole CPSU community, to the people of Kabankalan City
and nearby places. The primary purpose of establishing this project is to promote
organic way of farming and animal production. With this, it will not only give a
sustainable and profitable project to the locality but also it will provide a venue for
actual demonstration and laboratory facilities for the agriculture students and other
interested individual.
For almost hundred of students have been enrolled in agriculture every year,
the said project will give them knowledge and enhance their skills on actual
management of native chicken production. Also, the project is expected to give
employment to several graduates in agriculture during its operation and it will provide a
scholarship program for needy and deserving students.
The project will be established at Purok Rising Sun, CPSU Compound,
Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
