Directions: Combine the two sentences in any order by using the time expression in parentheses.
Underline the time clause in the sentence you write. Pay attention to the verb tense you use in the
time clause.

1.- Katie will lock all the doors. She will go to bed. (before)
 Kate will lock all the doors before she goes to bed.
 She will go to bed before Katie will lock all the doors.

2.  I’m going to be in Paris for two days. I’m going to visit the Louvre. (when)
 When I´m going to be in Paris for twho days, I´m going to visit the Louvre.
 I am going to visit Louvre. When I go to Paris for two days.

3.  Nancy is going to change the oil in her car. She’s going to take a bath. (after) 
 After Nancy changes the oil in her car, She is going to take a bath.
 Nancy is going to change the oil in her car, after she is goind to take a bath.

4.  We’ll call you. We’ll come over to pick you up. (before) 
 We´ll call you before we come over to pick you up.
 We Will is going you before we come over to pick you up.

5.  I’ll call you. I’ll get an answer from my bank about the car loan. (when)
 When I get an answer from my bank about the car loan, I´ll call you.
 When I call you, I´ll get an answer from my bank about the car loan

6.  The mail arrives. I eat breakfast. (after) 


 I´ll eat breakfast after the mail arrives
 The mail arrives after I eat breakfast.
