Create an Offset Emboss feature

1. Open syn1_offset_emboss_1.

2. Use the Part Navigator to examine the existing features.

Create an Offset Emboss

1. Choose Home tab→Feature group→Offset Emboss .

2. In the Offset Emboss dialog box, make sure Type is set to Curve.
3. On the Top border bar, from the Face Rule list, ensure Body Faces is selected.
4. Select any face of the sheet body.
5. From the Curve Rule list, ensure Tangent Curves is selected.
6. Select the curve on the sheet body.

7. If the offset is outside the part, click Reverse Direction .

8. In the Offsets group, type the following parameters:

o Side Offset = 0.5

o Height = 1.0

9. In the Width group, type the following parameters:

o Right Width = 1.2

o Left Width = 1.2

10. Click OK.

11. Close the part.
