MINUTES of the review and revision of the “Student Handbook”

AGENDA ITEMS PRESENTED POINTS OF DISCUSSION

Revision & Review of the The school Principal gives the overview of
Student Handbook Opening statement the meeting. He also pointed out that there
should be an inclusion to be done in the
student handbook because some of entries
were already phase out/obsolete. Like for
example the grading system reflected
thereat is not consistent with the D.O. #15 s.
2015. This is why this meeting is called so
that some of the items contain in the
Handbook shall be reviewed, amended, and
revised.
Presiding: The table now is open for any
suggestions, comments and remarks on the
Adapting “Grading presented item for discussion/deliberation.
System” in Department
Order No. 15, s. 2015 Mr. Dexther Toledo let himself recognized by
the Chair. He is now given the floor.
He said, Mr. Chairman, I move to adopt the
Grading System as define in D.O # 15, s.
2015

Chairman reiterated the motion and

solicited comments, remarks and
suggestions.

Mrs. Busayong: Mr. Chairman I think

nobody can deny that said D.O. is universal.
It is universal because not only High school
public institutions are ought to implement it
but also Private institution. So since that is
an Order, of which both public and private
high school are under the DepEd,
supervision, no reason not to obey or
implement such Order. So Mr. Chairman I
seconded to the motion.

The Presiding solicited comments,

suggestions and remarks. But no one
opposes to the motion therefore, motion is
approved.
 Inclusion of “Anti-Bullying Moderator: The facilitator let the body
Policy” in the Hand book. inform that the “Anti Bullying Policy” is
ready for inclusion to the Student Handbook.

Mr. Dexther Toledo, move that the

formulated Anti Bullying Policy shall be
included in the student hand book.

Cheryl Gasal said, I seconded the motion.

Presiding Officer, reiterated and solicited

comments. But there was none, motion is
approved.

The two above-mentioned items are

included in the “Student Hand Book”
through an Order of the School
Administration by the IT in-charge of the
matter.
