Name Blood Donation Camp
Descriptio Subject:
n of the Rotary Club Of Kanpur is one of the oldest NGO bodies in Kanpur that have worked time and
activity again for the well fare of people. In this event blood was collected to be donated in hospitals and
blood banks of Kanpur as due to these Covid times so many liters of blood was being used to
treat people so there was a little shortage of blood and moreover this helped prepared hospitals
for the coming Covid waves.

Content: The campaign was held from 23rd of February to 28th of February at. A total of 150 Liters of blood was
collected and distributed to Madhuraj hospital and Umeed Blood Bank Kanpur.

Outcome It helped in restoring the shortage of blood at hospitals and blood bank and also helped hospitals be prepared for
the coming Covid waves.

Name Oxygen Camp And Distribution Of Food And Medical Kits.

n of the Rotary Club Of Kanpur is one of the oldest NGO bodies in Kanpur that have worked time and
activity again for the well fare of people. In this event Oxygen camps were set up at various places in the
town as our city had a major outbreak of Covid during this time and a lot of people were no
getting oxygen cylinders and immediate space and care at a hospital. Other than this this project
also helped in distribution of food packets to the under privileged and unemployed and medical
kits to the needy and people who could not get beds at hospitals.
Content: The campaign was held from 2ND of April to 16th of April. Our team was deployed to various locations
daily to monitor and help in the smooth functioning of the oxygen camps that were setup and were also
responsible for the logistical help. It was our responsibility that at all points social distancing is being maintained
and everybody including the doctor are taking at most care to prevent Covid.

Outcome This has been one of the most helpful and charitable event that has been conducted, more than 400 people were
able to use the oxygen and uncountable lives were saved.

eat for a week. Moreover a lot of people requiring urgent medication were given medical kits that provide them
doses for 5 days, until they were able to find a hospital for themselves.
