SCRIPT FOR VARIETY SHOW 2019

Voice Over: Good evening to all, WELCOME to this exciting FAMILY FEST VARIETY SHOW
2019 with its theme, “One God, One Faith, One Church, One Family- Let’s build the
Church Together”. To start with, may I request everyone to please rise for an Invocation.
Brothers and sisters, let’s put ourselves in the presence of our Almighty God.
In the name of the father, of the son, and of the holy spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we praise you, we glorify you, we honor you for this wonderful occasion
that we are gather here right now. Another Family Fest celebration is here, and we come
to ask for your blessing and guidance once more. Thank you for every seat that has been
filled here today. For each mind and heart that fills the presence of this venue. We say that
we are dependent on you and our trust is in you, completely.
As we surrender ourselves through this adoration, we welcome you amongst us to
celebrate this gift of life and the gift of talents that you lavished upon each community
who will be showcasing today. We offer to you Oh Lord our vision, our commitment, our
courage and strengths as well as the abilities and time to work in accordance to your will.
May our prayer intentions will be granted through this very moment. Steer our intentions
to align with your righteous will. Remind us of your faithful provisions, when our efforts
fail us. May all the glory be up to you when we reach the finish line and climb over the
benchmarks. Lord, blanket us with your peacefulness today, keep us physically safe. Guide
our heart and mind from pride and selfishness. Keep love be at the forefront of our mind,
and the guiding light for all we set out to accomplish and celebrate.
We thank you for the gifts of mercy you have shown to each one of us. We ask that at this
moment you give us the strength, to perform our duties well to you as a servant, to be
alike to others, and to be an example of integrity, honesty, and graciousness.
All these things we ask with humility and gratitude, in Jesus name. Amen.

VOICE OVER (Arvie): Are you ready madlang people? If you say yes, then brace
yourselves as we open up the stage with the dazzling performance from the
CFC community, featuring “The CFC BAND”……
VOICE OVER (Arvie): Here’s your hosts: Queen Pamela and Arvie, the Great!
Arvie: Good Afternoon everyone!!! And welcome to this fabulous event that we are having now… right,
Dear Pam?
Pamela: Yes, I do really agree to what you’ve said, Arvie the great, Fabulous! Do you know why?
Because, our audience are so responsive to the performance of our first group of performers.
Arvie: So, with that I would like to see everyone clapping their hands and cheering up for the first
performer. Thank you!
Sis Pam: Since all of them who are here, have paid the amount of 10 dirhams for the entrance, we have
some surprises and give aways to those who will be the lucky winners. Are you excited, Arvie?
Arvie: Yes, I am sure, the winners will be so lucky to bring home the most awaiting, brand new car. Am I
correct Queen Pamela?
Pamela: Let’s see. Hahahha! But as of now, I have some items here to be given away to the lucky
winners… So, shall we start the raffle draw?
Arvie: Yeah! Can you now pick the lucky first winner?
Pamela: (bring me- red rosary) Our first lucky winner is having the number _________. Name:________
Arvie: Congratulations!

Pamela: You know, Arvie, the Great! If we have witnessed the great performance of the CFC band awhile
ago wherein I was able to sing and dance as well, I am sure that the next performers will have
that guts of high energy level and power to impress the audience.
Arvie: I do agree to you, Dear Queen Pam. What do you think are they going to do? Will they sing or
dance?
Pamela: I think…. I am sure I am one of the them acting like a millennials…
Arvie: HHHmmmm… really? Mellinials? How old are na ba? To tell that you belong to mellineals….Or you
belong to the 1970’s music….. Can you show how to move like mellineals?......or the trending
dances that we have today in youtube?
Pam: You know Arvie, I can’t wait to watch the next performer so, let’s introduce them!
Arvie: Ladies and gentlemen, featuring the Retro/ Famous and Trending Dance Craze in Social Media….
Pamela: from the CFFL community…
Arvie and Pamela: “The Retro Pop Millenials”
Arvie: Let us give a big round of applause to “The Retro Pop Millennials”. It was a fantastic kind of
performance. Who are the batang 90s here? I’m sure you can relate to the music and
movements, right?................................
Here we go for the giving of prizes and raffle tickets. (Bring me- tallest person in the house)

My dear audience, which animal do you think is the King of the Jungle?
Are you familiar about the recently movie, the Lion King? Did you relate to the movie? What lessons have
you learnt? Take a look at the person beside you, do he or she looks like a lion?
One of the songs to be sung by our next performer is the “Lion Sleeps Tonight” and I have a trivia…..

Trivia: Their literal meaning is something along the lines of “Every morning he brings us good
luck. Yes. Good Luck.” and, later on in the tune, “long ago, people used to say, you’re a
lion”. 
So, again look at to that person whom you think looks like a lion, is he/she a good luck to you?
At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, I may now present to you our next performer, “The FBCC Chorale”.

Arvie: Great job partner! Your group presentation is an awesome one! How long have you prepared just
to perfect the outstanding performance today?
Pamela: You know partner, kidding aside we are born to be a performer kaya when the members met
each other during the first time, and during our conversation, imagine we have noticed that our
voices were blending!
Arvie: Oh noh! Really? I think, its impossible!.... but as I have witnessed you all today, I can conclude that
you are telling the truth…hahahaha… Anyway congratulations again to your awesome
performance…. Let’s proceed to the next raffle draw….
Pamela: (Bring me- Boyfriend/husband - oppa) Let’s pick the number… Our lucky winner is __________
Arvie: Sis Pam…. Why did you ask them to bring the boys (and you said, boyfriend/ husband). Do you have
your own, too?
Pamela: Hhhhmmmm…Actually, I just wanted to see (How many are proud of their husband or boyfriend
to be with us in the center of this event.)
Arvie: You mentioned the word (oppa) what does it mean?
Pamela: Oppa is a Korean word for a love for the boys (papa)….hehehhehe…
Arvie: I can can feel that there’s someone inside here who will be your oppa, soon! Do you agree with me
Madlang people?
Pamela: hehehehehe….. In shallah, hopefully! Enough with my love life. Let me go first to Korea and find
my oppa their!
Arvie: Since you want to go to Korea you should be familiar about the latest famous and trending songs
and dances as well as the performers from Korea?
Pamela: Oh dear! Yes of course. Ako pa. I am that fun of them.
Arvie: Oh, yes. I can see it in your face, too….
Pamela: So, I can’t wait to witness the next dancing performance featuring, K-pop “Baam”- “The Jjang
Friends of the FBCC Community”.

Arvie: Wow! What an amazing performance by the “The Jjang Friends of the FBCC Community”.
Pamela: Indeed, I am also amazed of the dance steps and their awra.. They really look like Koreanos and
moving like Jeju…
Arvie: Ha!!....Jeju…it’s a place in Korea, right!
Pamela: I know…that’s why when I went to Baguio, Philippines they called it Jeju Island because many
Koreans are there.
Arvie: Really! No wonder why Filipinoes are greatly influenced by Korean fashion, music, and beauty
products. And good my dear partner…you are not into it…are you?
Pamela: Not yet… , and I am not into imitating them. Hahaha..
Arvie: Anyway…. I wish I will be a lucky winner in this next raffle draw so that I can win a ticket going to
Korea…..hhahaha…is it possible kaya?
Pamela: No way!.. we only have car…you can use it to drive from UAE to Jeju..
Arvie: (Bring me- San Lorenzo prayer guide) I pick the next luck winner…………
Pamela: Partner, after Kpop performance, what do you think will be the next?
Arvie: Hhmm… I think, it is a song…. Do you know that I love listening music like ballad, love songs, and
even the rock music…. When I’m taking vacation in the Philippines I usually take time just to
relax myself in a bar listening some acoustic songs…
Pamela: Same here… I do the same thing like yours and I’m also a fun of music.
Arvie: So the next performer of ours is….
Arvie and Pam: “The CFFL Seasionista”
Pam: (Singing while entering) Well done, to our “The CFFL Seasonista”!
Arvie: They really did a great job in their stage performance. We can say that the effort which they’ve
extended shows how hardworking and dedicated they are just to make our crowd be happy and
enjoy. Do you agree with me partner?
Pamela:Yes partner! Not only them. Also the other performers were able to do such efforts to get the
interest of the crowd and be impressed by them. And now, again we’ll give the give aways and
prices… The next winner is…….. (family picture in the church)
Arvie: Do you know my dear Queen Pam! I can’t get over to the performance of the “Jjang Friends”?
Pamela: Why? Is there something special that you remember from the past? Or you can relate to them?
Arvie: Something special from the past….hahhahaha… because you know, I was once fell in love with
Koreana from Pusan…. Its good that we were not meant to be because if nagging kami maybe I am
now a zombie..hhehhehe…
Pamela: Ohhhh! It means you have Koreana’s ex gf? With that…just relax because once again, here’s the
“The Jjang Friends of the FBCC Community”.

Arvie: Let’s give around of applause to “The Jjang Friends of the FBCC Community” for a wonderful and
creative performance.
Pamela: Yes! I enjoyed watching them gracefully dancing.
Arvie: Queen Pamela, are you also into dancing? Because I think you are also graceful and creative….
Pamela: Weehh…di nga? You are always kidding me…
Arvie: Since our program is on its peak or climax…..hhaahhhaa
Pamela: Climax? What’s that?
Arvie: What do you mean? You need to think of it…..maybe you are thinking beyond the
rules…..hahahhaha
Pamela: What do you mean?
Arvie: What I mean is that I am referring to the structure of the program just like when we create a story
dba may structure: intro, build up/problem, climax, resolution, and conclusion… So we are now in
the climax going to resolution.
Pamela: Since you’ve said about solution, let’s give another give aways and prices.
Arvie: (Bring me- the longest belt)The next lucky winner is _________________
Pamela: Partner, look at the theme of this year’s Family fest, what can you say about that?
Arvie: I think it is about building the community where people serve to God. So, the community starts
with a basic unit of society which is a family. That’s why as a family we should develop it as a Christ
centered. Don’t you think so?
Pamela: I agree to you bro. I asked that to you because our next performer has aligned their performance
to this year’s theme of the Family Fest.
Arvie: Without further ado, let us welcome, “The Glorified Movers of El Shaddai Community”.

Pamela: What a fabulous performance rendered to us by “The Glorified Movers of El Shaddai

Community”. Let us give them a round of applause.
Arvie: Yes. They have showcased the importance of building this community to be more Christ centered.
No matter what happened, we must rely to our God and we must value the essence of the word
“family”.
Pamela: This is the family fest that’s why our church organized this event to keep everyone help its
mission and vision to grow. Your talent and treasure are valued. Let’s give another give aways and
prices.
Arvie: So what are we going to do sis Pam?
Pamela: (Bring me- picture with one of the priest in the St. Michael’s church) the next luck winner is….
Arvie: Congratulations to the winner.
Pamela: Partner, how do you feel about today’s event?
Arvie: I feel so blessed because I can feel the guidance and power of God through the Holy Spirit.
Pamela: Me, too. I felt the same. God is really here.He’s the center of this event…
Arvie: So, whatever our problems, our trials, obstacles, and hindrances in life… we must hold on to God.
He is there listening and helping us to overcome all these.
Pamela: With that… in everyday of our lives we must worship the Lord.
Arvie: At this point of time, here we are to witness,
Arvie & Pamela: “ The Voice of Heaven of the El Shaddai Community”.
Pamela: Thank you, “ The Voice of Heaven of the El Shaddai Community”.

Arvie: It is indeed,t hrough worship that make us realise God is here, and he is able to help us to all the
challenges that comes along our way.
Pamela: So, we need to trust God and serve him with our whole being.
Arvie: It is the time to give the last chance for those who will be the lucky winner of our give aways and
prices.
Pamela: (Bring me- the oldest person in the house) The next luck winner is __________. Congratulations!
Arvie: At this juncture, may I call in our Filcom President, Ms. Nerry to give her closing remarks. ( stand
