ARRIVAL

JOBED: Let’s welcome the arrival of the ACLC Sports Fest Partcipants coming from
the different competing teams. Please proceed to your assigned area participants.
VERON: Let’s welcome the entrance of the ACLC College of Iriga,Inc. faculty and
staff headed by our very own school director, Dr. Emmalyn P. Sirios. The Student
Council Organization, College Department headed by Hans P. Labios.
JOBED: The SCO SHS department headed by Francis Taduran. And of course to
our special guests for today’s event.
VERON: Wala bang hiyawan dyan?
JOBED: Let’s now welcome the entrance of the non-ending almighty fearless
DRAGONS!
VERON: Team Advisers, Sir John Gabalfin, Ma’am Jie Ann Balicoco and Ma’am
Sorfreda Daza!
JOBED: Together with them, we are witnessing the entrance of the fearless
athletes and players of the RED DRAGONS!
VERON: And now, please welcome the WIT and WISE WIZARDS!
JOBED: Let us all welcome the world of magics and spells as we witness the
entrance of the team advisers, Ma’am Rose Rivera, Ma’am Emmie Ramos, Sir
Jomar Ramil and Ma’am Laine Sales!
VERON: We are indeed already in the Wizarding World. Ilabas ang wand ma’am
Laine!
JOBED: Again, the full of magic athletes and players of WISE WIZARDS!!!!!
VERON: What a cheer coming from the wizards and witches of Blue Team!
JOBED: Syempre, magpapahuli ba ang third team natin who are also aiming for
the victor of this year’s Sports Fest? Let’s give it up for… The nature lover,
outgoing and bold FURIOS ELVES!!!
VERON: Yan. What an energetic cheer coming from the GREEN TEAM!
JOBED: It is indeed that ACLCians are zestful and full of beans! I wonder what kind
of breakfast they had this morning.
VERON: Actually, last week pa yan eh. The kick start of the Foundation
Celebration?
JOBED: I know right. I was one of the hosts that day. I remembered that it was
colourful.. and somehow… wet?
VERON: Indeed sir Jobed. The first day of the celebration was launched through of
course with a solemn Mass, it was officiated by father Gaite.
JOBED: You know what ma’am Veron? It is still crystal clear here in mind the
three important words of father Gaite. Naaalala nyo pa ba guys?
VERON: Ako, nakatatak na isip ko. The Gratitude, the Commitment and the?
JOBED: Hope. These are the three things that we must manifest in the midst of
foundation celebration.
VERON: Korek ka dyan sir. Kaya, let us not wait any longer, to formally start our
program. Let us all rise to acknowledge our Almighty Father to be presented by,
our very own, the ACLC Chorale
JOBED: And please remain standing for the singing of the Philippines National
Anthem.

A countdown has begun for the most spectacular, challenging, nerves wracking
and mind blowing sporting event of ACLC College of Iriga City, Inc. This day, we
will witness unmatched skill of our audacious sports enthusiasts of our school,
who will exhibit their stamina, grit and determination.
BOTH: A PHENOMENAL MORNING ACLCIANS!!!!!!!!!
JOBED: What a tremendous morning indeed.
VERON: Parang hindi nag FUN RUN ah. Parang readying-ready pa kayo for
another round. Balik naman sa ACLC.
JOBED: Ganyan ka spirited ang mga students natin today. Now, to keep us
inspired and motivated this morning, let us welcome our very own ever dedicated
since day 1, the Student Council Organization College Department President, Hans
Jasper Labios.

OPENING REMARKS

VERON: Thank you so much for that warm welcome Hans.

JOBED: Once again, we are pleased to welcome all of you especially to the
parents and families who are here with us today to support their children. We
know how difficult it is to navigate these past few weeks for children who are
working hard preparing for the main day.
VERON: It is because of your affection and encouragement that we see our
children in high spirits, even after such tiring days.
JOBED: Without wasting any of time, I would like to ask permission to start with
the roll-call for every competing houses today. Honored guests, coaches, teams
advisers and teachers, students and friends, are you ready?????
VERON: It seems like they can’t hear you sir Jobed. Once again, ARE YOU
READY???????
Alright. May we ask everyone to prep your team’s cheer and as we call on
your Team Name please stand.
JOBED: Let’s start with, The FIERY AND FEARLESS HOUSE OF DRAGOOOONSSS!!!!!

VERON: What an intense and all-out cheers! May this cheer from the crowd
inspire and ignite the fire inside of all our players’ heart in fulfilling their desire
towards victory.

FLAG HOISTING

JOBED: “ACLC College of Iriga City, Inc. is one of the leading computer training
institution in the country. It is focused on producing highly competent and skilled
graduates to address the growing needs of the local and international markets
and indeed considered as the home of successful people”
VERON: It is time to feel proud and victorious, the spirit of love that unites us as
sons and daughters of one mother as we hoist the ACLC College Iriga Banner.
JOBED: May we request our school director, Dr. Emmalyn P. Sirios to be assisted
by the SCO college department president Hans Jasper Labios, and the SCO Senior
High Department President Francis I. Taduran.
VERON: Followed by the different house banners to be hoisted by the respective
Team Advisers to be assisted by the muse and escort.
JOBED: Thank you so much Ma’am Emz, SCO College President Hans, SHS
president Francis, and of course to all our Team advisers.

JOBED: Sportsmanship is an understanding of and commitment to fair play,

ethical behaviour and integrity, and general goodwill toward an opponent.
VERON: It is an affirmation that an athlete is disciplined enough to have
perspective, maintain poise and do what is best his or her teammates.
JOBED: To officiate our OATH OF SPORTSMANSHIP, may I have the honor to call
on our 1500 meters run Bronze Medalist, 800 meters run Gold Medalist and 3000
meters run Gold Medalist in the recently concluded City Meet, Division of Iriga
City and now an official athlete delegate of Iriga City to the Palarong Bicol this
coming April, ANIE CLAIRE T. LITAN.

OATH OF SPORTSMANSHIP

JOBED: Thank you so much Claire.

VERON: This year’s Sports Fest aims to increase students’ engagement by
providing students with opportunities to interact socially with their peers, which
fosters a sense of belonging, positive mental health, and greater engagement in
both academic and non-academic activities.
JOBED: Let us all witness the induction of this year’s Sports Fest Symbol initiated
by our very own City Meet Team Captain Ball, who have led the ACLC basketball
team to Championship with 3-1 standing in the recently concluded City Meet,
WAYNE BANAAG!
VERON: This symbol has so much meaning in the commencement of this year’s
Sports Fest.
JOBED: It is shaped like a burning fire to symbolize the warmth, bravery and
burning passion of ACLC students towards better future in different aspects
amidst hardships, trials and failures in life.
VERON: The Sports Fest Symbol consists of five symbolic fires. The first three fires
with colors Green, Blue and Red symbolize the different participating houses, The
Furious Elves, Wise Wizards and the Fearless Dragons. They express unity,
camaraderie and friendship with each other.
JOBED: At the top, the colossal symbolic fire in the middle symbolizes the goal of
this year’s Sports Fest which is to Foster Camaredie, Unity and Friendship through
Sports.
VERON: There you have it ladies and gentlemen. The investiture of this year’s
Sports fest Symbol.
JOBED: This only signifies that the burning enthusiasm and sportsmanship within
our hearts have already been placed and will continuously remind us of our duties
and responsibilities as sports advocates.
VERON: May I now request all the athletes and team advisers to take your seats
at your respective assigned areas and join the rest of the members of your
respective houses.
JOBED: At this juncture, before we officially declare the opening of ACLC Sports
Fest 2023, may I proudly present to you the ACLC Majorettes for their grandest
exhibition!

VERON: Thank you so much ACLC Majorettes.

JOBED: What a performance! I hope to see them competing in NAGA soon.
VERON: I Hope so too sir Jobed. It’s not impossible, right ma’am Emz?
JOBED: Looking forward. I’m willing to become their PARAPUNAS.
VERON: Ako, Okay na sakin maging Majorettes Leader lang. But, kidding aside.

VERON: Champions are not made in the gyms. Champions are made from
something they have deep inside them- a desire, dream, and a vision.
To officially declare the opening of this year’s Sports Fest, may I call on our very
own, the forever radiant and beautiful, ACLC Iriga school director, Dr. Emmalyn P.
Sirios.

DECLARATION OF OPENING OF SPORTS FEST

VERON: Thank you, so much ma’am Emz.

JOBED: Let us get ready to witness the unimaginable display of unique talents of
our students.
VERON: At this moment, may I request all students and guests to stand.
JOBED: Do some stretching and shake your body!
VERON: Let’s open this year’s event with a little groove and jive.
JOBED: Calling all the faculty and staff here in front. Requesting all students to be
attentive and lively as we move our body as our teachers lead us to the beat of
the music.
VERON: Are you guys ready????

VERON: And to elevate our players’ moral and sportsmanship let us now witness
one of the most awaited event of this year’s 26th Foundation Anniversary, Sports
Fest 2023… Welcome to…

BOTH: THE ACLC CHEERDANCE COMPETITION!!!!!

JOBED: But before that, it is just right to meet the people who will have the most
difficult job today as these distinguished guests will determine the dominant and
the boldest among houses when it comes to cheering.
VERON: And to officially introduce the board of judges for today’s event, may I
call on the SCO-College Department President Josephine Tanay.

INTRODUCTION OF THE BOARD OF JUDGES

VERON: Alright. Thank you, Phine. I hope everyone’s now ready.

JOBED: Are you guys ready?
VERON: Are our judges ready?
JOBED: I’m sure everyone will be more ready after ma’am Rica read to us the
Guidelines and Criteria for Judging.
VERON: May I call on ma’am Rica Morato, SCO-SHS Adviser for the reading of
criteria.

READING OF CRITERIA
JOBED: Thank you so much ma’am Rica. Whew! It’s time.
VERON: Without any further ado. Let’s all welcome the first competing house.
The FEARLESS DRAGONS!!!!

(CHEERDANCE 1)

JOBED: What a fiery performance guys! You guys indeed exuded so much hotness
just a while ago.
VERON: Yes. But, let me take this opportunity to remind all students to minimize
and control each team’s cheer. This is to avoid any disruption to the quality of
music for each presentation. Thank you.
JOBED: Again, thank you so much to the first team. You guys can now relax and sit
comfortably.
VERON: And now, let’s give it up for the WISE WIZARDS!

VERON: This is going to be very difficult on the part of judges today. So far, both 2
teams have executed so well.
JOBED: I know right. It is indeed evident in their performance how many nights
they have rendered for the practice each team.
VERON: Definitely sir.
JOBED: Are your guys ready for the last team?
VERON: Wag na natin patagalin pa sir Jobed.
JOBED: Let’s give it up for the FURIOUS ELVES!!!

JOBED: I am flabbergasted. What a performance Elves!

VERON: Absolutely, sir Jobed. Hanggang ngayon may Goosebumps pa ko. Kayo
din ba?
JOBED: All I can say is. Their hardwork, their late-night practices, their sacrifices
has paid them well. It was all worth it.
VERON: Kudos to the trainers! Ang galing nyo.
JOBED: And of course, to the team advisers. Congratulations! Lalo na yung lagging
mga nagbabantay dyan. Congrats guys!
VERON: We come now to the end of the first part of our Sports Fest. Before we
go, in behalf of ACLC College of Iriga City, Inc. we would like to extend our
warmest gratitude to our board of judges. Thank you so much for entertaining our
invitation.
JOBED: Despite the sudden change of schedule, you still approved the invitiation.
And to the CDRRMO, PNP, CSU, for always securing our safety right from the first
day of our activity until today, Thank you so much, to the LGU of Iriga City headed
by hon. Rex Oliva, thank you so much.
VERON: To all the students. Our Sports Fest events has just begun. Please be
updated of the different Sports Event which will start right after the program.
Please look the schedule of activities posted at the entrance of the Sports Center.
JOBED: Let’s support our team. Let’s cheer them and heighten the energy of our
