approval to have our annual Student Council Officers Election on September 30, 2022 – Friday. We
believe that it’s important for students to experience leadership opportunities during their
schooling, to learn that art of building relationships within teams, defining identities, and achieving
tasks effectively. It also provides an opportunity to learn to identify and display effective
communication and interpersonal skills.

Furthermore, we are pleased to enclose herewith the timeline of the application, campaign and
election as well as the mechanics, qualifications and procedures of the activity.

STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS
MECHANICS AND PROCEDURES

1. Applicants for the position of President must be a bonafied grade 12 ACLC


Student.
2. Applicants for the positions of President, Vice President, Governor and Vice
Governor must submit the following:
a. Recommendation/Application of candidacy
3. Filled out applications shall be submitted from September 5 to 7, 2022 to
the respective adviser and must be forwarded to the SCO advisers until 5
pm.
4. Screening and interview will be done on September 8 @ 9 AM, Library. The
official result will be announced in the afternoon.
5. The selected applicants for the positions of President, Vice President,
Governor and Vice Governor shall create their own set of officers and
Partylist. Submission of final list shall be on September 15.
6. Social Media Campaign shall commence on September 19 with the approval
of Sir Ian Tarrago.
7. Room to room campaign shall follow starting on September 20 – 22. A
maximum of 15 to 20 minutes shall be given to each classroom per partylist.
8. Grand Rally will be on September 26 for Monday and Tuesday classes and
September 28 for Wednesday and Thursday classes. This will be facilitated
by the SCO Advisers.
The following shall be prepared:
A. Self-Introduction
B. Advocacy/Platform
C. Open Forum Questions
9. Election Day will be on September 30, 2022 at 9 AM to 4PM through Online
Voting. This will be facilitated by Sir Michael Banaria.
10. Announcement of Winners shall be posted on the same day, September 30
at 5 PM. Announcement shall be declared as final and irrevocable.
11. Oath of Duties and Responsibilities shall be on October 3 at 9 AM to be
officiated by the SCO Advisers.
