Abstract:

Industry Registration is any essential to measure the economic growth of the country. In
various periods, government has been taken lot of efforts to streamline and regulate the industry
registration. Udyog Aadhaar registration is a easily approach system in this system had flourish on
entrepreneurship life in India even though which one of consist on our strength that on consist for our
weakness in this fact absolute true, because this aim of rural area develop for industrialism for that on
what impact, that impact on non entrepreneurial awareness people has on start up the business on
future on no more than on industrial field. The present paper is mainly focus on understanding the
concepts of Udyog Aadhaar in India.

Introduction:
Registration of industries is one of the major initiatives which help to record the growth and
performance of the industries over a period of time. This process is common to all kind of industries
which comes under the preview of the central and state government. MSME registration is also are of
the major part this process. MSME registration is required for micro, small or medium sized
enterprises so that they can enjoy the benefits and incentives provided to small micro or medium sized
enterprises by the government. They are provided under the MSMED ACT. SSI registration is for

What is Udyog Aadhaar:

The Ministry of MSME has set up the infrastructure the Udyog Aadhaar (UA) Portal for online
filing of Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) by enterprises located anywhere in the country. The
UA portal is also accessible on mobile devices. Small and medium small industries want to start any
business; they need to do the registration with MSME. This registration with MSME can be done in
two ways i.e. one is online and other one is offline. This facility is called Udyog Aadhaar. This
Aadhaar is a 12 digit number. The reason to launch this Aadhaar is to provide maximum benefits to the
small and medium scale industries, who are registered with MSME through this Aadhaar number.

Registration Process:
1. To do the registration in the small and medium scale industry owner has to fill a single form
which he can do online as well as offline.

2. If a person wants to do registration for more than one industry then also he/she can do
individual registration.
3. To do the registration he/she has to fill a single form which is available at website.
4. The document required for the registration is personal Aadhaar number, Industry name,
address, Bank account details and some common information.
5. In this the person can provide self-certified certificates.
6. There is no registration fees required for this process.
7. Once the details filled and upload you would be getting the registration number.

1. In this to do the registration you can apply either online or offline. It means to do registration
there are two options available to you.
2. Once the business man has applied he/she will get the Udyog Aadhar number on his registered
mail ID.
3. To apply only one page form is required and it should be self-attested.
4. There is no process fees.
5. Once you have registered with MSME you would be getting all government scheme benefits
like without guarantee loan, easy loan, loan with low rate of interest.

Udyog Aadhaar: Ease of Doing Business:

The Central Government has come – up Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum, a unique number
issued to Micro, Small and medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Familiarization of Udyog Aadhaar Cards is
part of an overall process of cutting down the procedural delays for registering MSMEs. This move
will simplify registration procedure for entrepreneurs and promote ease of doing business. The whole
process of registration can be done online. There is no fee and no restriction on filling more than one
memorandum using the same Aadhaar number.

1. The details of the enterprises can be captured in an easy and convenient manner through Udyog
Aadhaar Form.
2. NSIC KVIC Coir Board and other state level agencies dealing with MSMEs can assist
entrepreneurs in registering and linking scheme benefits.
3. With the help of Udyog Aadhaar Registration, enterprises can seek information of various
government schemes and apply online about various services offered by various Ministries and
Department.
4. Udyog Aadhaar enables all enterprises to simply file and resister themselves and access other
services too.
5. Industry association and Business Member Organizations (BMO) can take a lead role and help
existing enterprise to register and join the formal economy
6. Rating agencies can be empanelled for Performance and Credit Rating Schemes etc. can also
promote and encourage enterprises to get Udyog Aadhaar registration.
7. Banks and NBFC also promote and encourage enterprises to get Udyog Aadhaar registration.

The one page Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum has become effective from September 18, 2015.
Many entrepreneurs have already started using this form to get them registered. Udyog Aadhaar is a
self- declaration form that will allow an enterprise to register itself with the government authorities and
‘self-certify’ its existence. By filling the Udyog |Aadhaar form, an enterprise can give all information
such as:-
1. Bank account details,
2. Promoter’s/owner’s Aadhaar number,

3. Type of the organisation (Proprietary, Partnership, Co-operative, etc.) and other minor details.
On submission of the form to District Industrial Centres (DIC), the MSME can be issued:-
1. Udyog Aadhaar number
2. Permanent Account Number (PAN)
3. Tax Assessment Number (TAN) and
4. Employee provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) registration.

Udyog Aadhaar registration is an golden time opportunity for an Indian entrepreneurs, because
this system has been easily can do the registration, no paper less work, and no cost of registration, and
which one of business couples has been here on our home in register for Udyog Aadhaar, in this
memorandum has been given on main object for reducing poverty and growth on Indian rural area has
been developed for industrialism. Now a days on entire world on developing country on Indian has

As per the above table, there are 8,22,827 units were registered with UA as on September, 2015
of which 7,12,708 belongs to Micro industries, 1,06,220 belongs to Small industries and 3,899 belongs
to Medium industries.
A maximum number. of units were registered in UA in Bihar with 2,16,340 Units and a
Minimum number. of units were registered in UA in Mizoram with 2 Units.

As per the above table, there are 4,07,838 units were registered Manufacturing with UA as on
September, 2015 of which 3,37,272 belongs to Micro industries, 67,852 belongs to Small industries
and 2,714 belongs to Medium industries.
A maximum number. of units were registered in UA in Bihar with 58,701 Units and a
Minimum number. of units were registered in UA in Mizoram with 0 Units.

As per the above table, there are 4,17,697 units were registered Service with UA as on
September, 2015 of which 3,77,297 belongs to Micro industries, 39,157 belongs to Small industries
and 31,243 belongs to Medium industries.
A maximum number. of units were registered in UA in Bihar with 1,57,423 Units and a
Minimum number. of units were registered in UA in Mizoram with 2 Units.

Conclusion:

India has been increasing level of employment and industries particularly step by step on
growth on rural area. The rural area has been growth on automatically growth trend percentage has
been increase on Indian socio-economic development. Udyog Aadhaar registration is an ambassador
mile stone in India, in this registration has been implement on 2006 for recommended on Kamath
Committee. Udyog Aadhaar aim is first on easily filling on registration and in India has been
concluded on 80 percentage of rural area given on coordinate on India so that Udyog Aadhaar biggest
challenge or life time achievement on how to improve on Indian rural area, for that on Udyog Aadhaar
is introduce on no cost on offline filling on every one Indian citizen can promote on industry on he or
she is here on our home in register on Udyog Aadhaar memorandum under MSME. This article is
mainly to understand the conceptual background of the Udyog Aadhaar and its features with respect to
registration of industries in India. There is a need of creating awareness about the Udyog Aadhaar
among the micro and small entrepreneurs to avail the incentives and assistance provided by the
government.
