I. INTRODUCTION
At the emergency condition, there are some equipment that must turn on and can
be used for ship’s safety conditions. So, the Electrical Source of Emergency Power
(ESEP) is provided to supply a electricity need in the ship in emergency condition
and when the main generator is blackout. ESEP consist of some batteries or
independent generator. the equipments that must turn on when emergency conditions
such as navigation lights, communication, and emergency lamp equipments.
II. OBJECTIVES
1. To determine the equipment that need emergency source of electrical power on
the ship.
2. To calculate the battery power and choose which battery is suitable with the
equipment.
