Obayashi Corporation Japan had its rst cornerstone
set by Yoshigoro Obayashi upon appointment of
constructing Abe Paper Mill in 1892. Riding on the
modernization wave in the century, Obayashi rose as
one of the biggest player in the eld, having constructed
Tokyo Central Station in 1914, Osaka Port, and the
popular Japan’s landmark Tokyo Skytree, as well as
other large scale buildings all across Japan. Obayashi
Corporation Japan has now become the number one
construction company in Japan, having survived the
test of time, changes of era, and unstoppable need for
innovation.
The construction of Tokyu Hotel (now as Sari Pan Paci c
Hotel) in 1972 was the rst construction work done by
PT. Jaya Obayashi, Joint Venture company between
Obayashi Corporation Japan and PT. Pembangunan
Jaya Indonesia. Since founded in January 28, 1972
PT. Jaya Obayashi has grown from that single step to a
major prime construction company in Indonesia with
more than 500 projects experiences, responsible for
the construction of several buildings from well known
and well respected corporations in Indonesia.

PT. Pembangunan Jaya

PT Pembangunan Ibu Kota Jakarta Raya (abbreviated
as PT. Pembangunan Jaya) was established on
September 3, 1961, with the sole purpose of assisting
DKI Jakarta provincial government to build acilities
and infrastructure in the area. To stay competitive, the
company established partnerships with respectable
foreign company, Obayashi Corporation, to ensure
a continuous technology transfer, an important
competitive edge in construction industry especially in
this information era.

impacts. We also provide advisory for other buildings that
aspire to reach the same standard of Safety, Quality, and
Environment.

Maintenance
PT. Jaya Obayashi is responsible for carrying out
maintenance of the buildings that have been built by
ourself. These maintenances are necessary to keep the
safety and quality of the building at the highest possible
