1. Understanding Land Clearing

       Land clearing work is a site job to be estimated or in other words an "exact" job,
because the amount of production is erratic and the work is one to the other. The
equipment used and the way chosen for this land clearing job determines the amount
of production.

2. Land Clearing Equipment

Various equipment that can be used in land clearing work can be seen in the table
below

3. Land Clearing Process

In the process of land clearing, common things include:

a. Underbrushing

Is an activity that leads to the repair of trees with a maximum diameter of 30

cm with the aim to facilitate the implementation..

b. Felling / Cutting

c. StockPilling of Log

The activity of collecting the timbers which are then collected into piles of

project volume/specifications and available time..

 Methods The overthrow and slashing

This method is carried out simultaneously , for this activity is known by several
methods , including the following:

a. Perimeter Method / Deep Snail Method

Faktor-faktor berikut menurut pengalaman pengaruhnya besar terhadap aktivitas

dan produktivitas land clearing:

a. Kelebatan pepohonan
