Activity # 1: Meaningful Assessment

As a college, you encountered several assessments in basic education to college. Recall from
your own personal experience an assessment that you think was truly meaningful to you. Explain
why it is so. Explain the nature and purpose of that particular assessment

For me my personal experience on assessment that I think the most meaningful for me was
during I took an examination for college it was meaningful for me because I take two entrance
exam for my college namely, Surigao state university and also Philippine normal university
unfortunately, I wasn’t able to pass the exam for phillippine normal university. I felt pain and
disappointed that time to myself. But luckily I pass the entrance exam for surigao state university
and with that we can go now for the next around of exam for the interview which we should
choose question and answer it in a certain minute. But sadly I did not make it I was just on the
waiting list. it was a hard time for me I even question my capability I belittle myself that why I did
not make were most of my friends did it. but now I realize that those schools ive take was not
really for me because before I took an exam I ask god that god if this is really the school or carer
that you want me to pursue I know you will make a way for that to happen but if its not for me I
know you will guide me for the path that you want me to be. And now I knew that this is the path
that god want me to pursue because somehow I learn to love my course that I never imagined
myself before that I will be a teacher of an elementary grades.
