Hands in Inclusion is a community that involves inclusion
everywhere in the Philippines. We are the community that hear stories from the people who are
advocating inclusion and learn from them to be aware of the need for inclusion in the given society in
hopes that an inclusive Philippine society becomes tangibly possible.
“MAKABAGONG AUTISMO SA IKA-21 SIGLO” (“Modern Autism in the 21st
Century”), the first seminar of Hands In Inclusion, is one of the major steps to fulfill this vision. It is
one of the major campaigns for Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities where the speakers discuss their
stories of success and reasons for PWD Inclusion, as well as other related information.
This event is open to all audiences and also a fundraising event for Hands in Inclusion.
The topics of this seminar are the following:
1. New Autism in the 21st Century
2. the sciences and practices for Autism
3. stories and testimonials about Autism
4. and trends on Autism Employment
The event is scheduled on January 24, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Philippine
General Hospital in Taft Avenue, Manila.
This event shall have six (6) speakers who will deliver short but well-prepared presentations
that will tackle different topics that aims to promote awareness on autism awareness and its need in
the fast-changing world.
Each speaker is requested to present at most thirty (30) visual presentation sides, discussing
it in 30 minutes creating the 30 slides x 30 minutes format of presentation.

readiness assistance, skills training, and employment advocacy for PWDs
