OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 server and Admin tool are installed on the same Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) 2012R2 machine.

Trying to configure a new ODBC Systems Datasource to resolve the error message in OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 Admin tool when try to Information Centers
open an RPD in Online mode ("No ODBC Systems Datasource is defined for Oracle BI Server" ), following these steps: No Information Center
available for this document.

On the client machine where Admin tool is installed, navigate to "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools". Document References
Click on "Data Sources (ODBC)" to open it. No References available for

SOLUTION

Set correct values for the PATH Variable and same for the Windows registry keys
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>ODBC>ODBCINST.INI>Oracle BI Server>Driver and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>ODBC>IDBCINST.INI>Oracle BI Server>Setup)

to make sure that Admin tool path to BIN directory (For example, Admin tool '<ORACLE HOME>\bi\bifoundation\server\bin' ) is
present.
