Steps for using google class for students

Introduction
Google classroom is a very powerful tool for receiving messages, tasks, quizzes and course
materials from your teacher during a course.

Moreover, you can follow up your grades and marks allocated for each task during the course.
The following steps describe how you receive a new task and how you turn it back to your
teacher.

1: You receive a new message containing next day’s lesson materials.

2: Click on the message to open the lesson file

3: from the three dots on the right of the opened file click ‘Open in new window’.

4: You can print the file by clicking on the print icon

5: You can download the file by clicking on the download icon

During the lesson solve the lesson’s assignment. After the lesson ends
you will receive a new message from your teacher to submit this assignment.
Scan the assignment using your mobile phone and save it as a pdf file.

6: Click on the received message to hand in the scanned assignment.

7: Click on ‘Add or create’ to select the assignment file you scanned.

8: Select ‘file’ from the menu that appears.

9: Click on ‘Select file from your device’ and select the assignment file.

10: Click on ‘Upload’

11: After the file appears under ‘Your work’, click on ‘Hand in’.

12: In the ‘Hand in your work?’ message, click on ‘Hand in’.

13: You now submitted your assignment and you can’t make any changes in it. If
you need to make any updates in your assignment provided the due date did not
yet come, you can click on ‘Unsubmit’, make the required changes the click
‘Submit’ again.

14: You can see all the assignments you did so far by clicking on ‘View all’ from
the stream page

15- Or by clicking on ‘View your work’ from the classwork page.

16: If the assignment was just sent, you will see a status of
‘Assigned’ on the right and If it was handed in, you will see a status of ‘Handed in’.

17: If the assignment was returned back to you by your teacher to do some
corrections, you will see a status of ‘Returned’ and if it was graded by your
teacher, you will see the score that you received on the right
