What is ESP?
English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a learner-centered
approach in language teaching that solely focuses on the
communicative competence of the learner according to their
chosen field. Students are intended to be exposed to the
workplace or academic culture in order for them to practice their
professional communication and prepare them for real-world
experiences.

Benefits of taking esp course

Quick acquisition of the required English

language terms: Since the content and
teaching strategies are context-based,
students tend to learn in an advanced
manner.

Learning resources such as syllabus,

activities, and assessment tools
are all pre-identified and studied through
needs analysis accordingly to the outcome
requirement and needs of the learner's field
of discipline.

course or the appropriate language
