Territory allocation at Nilgai Food

v Please take screenshots of territory allocation, before and after hitting the run button as
discussed in the class. Also, write a short note explaining the rationale behind your
decision.
v This is the first solution I come up with, but after analysing it I realised that I have used to
many territories and at the same time underutilising all my resources which can easily be
optimised. Therefore I gave it another shot.

v Once I realised that I am underutilising my resources at the same time using to many
Territories. I tried reducing the number of territories from 6 to 5 and saw a change in the
Total time as well. But still I can easily figure out that there is a huge variation in the
revenue earned per person and that need to be reduced for the smooth functioning of the
sales team.
v Once I realised that I am having too much variation in the revenue earned and the ratio
between the Travel and the wait time in not high. I made some necessary changes and tried
to reduce the difference in the total revenue earned by this. I considered this as an ideal
solution for this situation and therefore went with the same.
