CHAPTER 1 - The Problem and its Background

1. Shorten your Introduction and construct it from General to specific. All Citations must be
placed on Chapter 2 and in APA format.
2. Remove your Statement of the Problem.
3. Conceptual Framework, in your paradigm, write in the input how you constructed the tank
filling system, canvassing of price of materials, prior art search on the design of the tank
filling system, lay outing, materials, tools and equipment . for your process: preparation of
materials needed in constructing the product, assembling or the construction procedure,
try- out and revision and assessment of the product. And for the output, is the finished
product.
4. Follow format in constructing research paradigm in your conceptual framework 1, 2 & 3.
Refer to EARIST Thesis Manual
5. There should be an introductory paragraph in the general objective before stating your
specific objectives.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
1. To develop an Automatic Tank Filling System for ECC
2. To Identify the materials, tools and equipment in constructing the product.
3. To Construct the Automatic Tank Filling System for ECC
4. To Determine the capabilities & limitations in using the Automatic Tank Filling System
for ECC
5. To Assess & compare the acceptability results of the product based on the given
characteristics as evaluated by the respondents.
6. Arrange your significance of the study according to the hierarchy of who benefited the
most. Please specify the school will benefit from your study.
7. Set parameters on your scope and limitations. Explain the supplementary functions of the
tank filling system. Mention also that dry-run was not conducted due to pandemic
protocols.
8. Enrich your definition of terms. Identify if operational or conceptual.

CHAPTER 2 – Review of Related Literature and Studies

1. Provide Sentence introduction for your chap 2 before proceeding. Precedence of Chapter 2:
Local Literature, Foreign literature, Local Studies, Foreign Studies, Synthesis
2. Provide 5 local & 5 foreign literatures from 2010 to 2019 and 5 local & 5 foreign studies
from 2015 – 2019.
3. Synthesized your literature and studies by grouping them based on their contribution to
your study. Identify the invention used, the author, the year published.
4. Don’t copy the content, paraphrase. Don’t include the Title of the articles, write it in
bibliography or references. Strictly use the APA format on citation and in recording your
references.

CHAPTER 3 – Development of the Project

1. Lay-out of the Project Provide an autocad/ mechanical lay-out for your project. Front view,
side view and top view with corresponding measurement of the design in actual size, height,
weight and length. Lay-out 1 should use figure no. 1, 2 or 3 etc. with corresponding title
below the image. Figure (images or picture is different from tables) See manual
 2. Identify properly the supplies and material using item description, qty. unit, unit cost, total
cost and usage.

Follow format of preparing table from the manual. See thesis manual.
3. Tools and equipment should bear label, picture and usage in a figure presentation
4. Construction procedure should be supported with images in a figure presentation not in
table.
5. Remove pictures from the table and label it. Identify properly the amount spent on the
materials, tools and equipment rentals. Identify the try out and revision cost, and the final
prototype or actual cost of the product specifying the labor and materials by separate
computation
Use EARIST table format illustrated in the thesis writing manual.

CHAPTER 4 – Description of the Completed Project

1. Describe Parts and Functions by showing every parts and how it functions.
2. Capture the entire Structural Image of the finished project with label.
3. Identify clearly the Operating Procedure for each product.
4. List down the Capabilities and limitation of the project.
5. Identify Safety Measures and Maintenance Control. (see attached draft of rapporteur’s
report)
6. User’s Guide Manual should be attached. Its contents are specified in Chap. 4 (1,2,3,4,&5)
7. Assessment of the Project should be explained. The survey instrument should be attached at
appendices and sample of answered survey questionnaire from the expert. Assessment should
be in Table.

CHAPTER 5 – Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations

1. Summary should be provided based on the precedence of the objectives of the study.
2. Conclusions Specify your conclusion based on the summary of findings from your objectives
of the study if what is your analysis and interpretation.
3. Recommendations. Specify your recommendations based on the the conclusion generated
and should be presented into two: For Development and For Improvement.
See attached draft rapporteur’s report (hand written).

GENERAL SUGGESTIONS: Add water detection (mid level)

Change wire body (PBC). Use solid wire.
Cut the top and provide lid/ cover
Apply full computations on the material cost.
Recommend additional sprinkler device and steelmatting
