Brief Description of the Product.

In Automotive Industry there’s a lot of materials

that cannot lift by the person, this product light weight

lifter can only lift below 2 tons and it is easy to move

from another place to one another because it has a wheel,

it is very useful because it has an own tool cabinet that

attach in it and it is very easy to use because it is

manual or mechanical equipment. This product will be a

great help in the automotive industry, it has an engine

crane use for removing and installing gasoline and diesel

engine in small crowded vehicle engine compartment. It is

capable of lifting anywhere from an inch off the ground.

Objectives of the study

The main purpose of this study is to make a new

product that will exist in the market for a long period of

time. To attain this product, the researcher came up to

survey and planning with the following objectives:

1. To Lay-out design for Light Weight Lifter with Tool

Cabinet.

2. To Identify the material, tools and equipment in

constructing the product.

3. To Construct the Light Weight Lifter with Tool

Cabinet.

4. To speed up the work of mechanics.

5. To
v
6. use it inside the shop.

Summary of Findings
The Study of the Light Weight Lifter with Tool Cabinet

was undertaken to save effort from removing the engine from

the vehicle. The following are the finding of this study:

1. There are varieties of Light Weight with Tool

Cabinet because of the chain block that differs in

weight.

2. Careful planning, design, research and good

handling is needed so that the product will have a

great accurate output.

3. Every tool has its specific designations, using it

upon its restrictions is not recommended.

4. This study aims to innovate new product that will

surely release in the market, it is under testing

of the possible users through survey and determines

its acceptability based in it.

vi

Conclusions
While on the stage of developing the product,

the researchers generate the following:

1. The develop Light Weight Lifter with Tool Cabinet

is used to help the mechanic makes it works become

easy. The chain block holds the engine and can be

transfer or moved through the fixed cart on the

product.

2. The supplies/materials used by the researcher in

the product is available to the market.

3. The researchers conducted a research in the market,

looking for tools that can serve as life model.

They conducted planning, lay-outing and finalizing

the possible output.

Recommendation

The researchers from those gathered findings and

conclusions; the proponents formed the following

vii
recommendations:

For development
1. The researcher would like to make it operation

mechanical and not electrical.

2. The Light Weight Lifter helps the mechanic to lift

the transmission to easily move and Disassemble.

3. This product is still in improvement, if there is

another researcher wanted to improve this product

including its design, the researcher is grateful.

4. The researchers recommend for improvement of the

product.

5. Include case in order to keep the product.

6. Improve the appearance of the product to increase

more market value.

viii

For improvement
1. Putting roof on the Light Weight Lifter to prevent

it from direct sunlight and rain.

2. The researchers want to put a bulb on it just in

case the workers are working on night.

3. Putting up adjusters on both ends of the post so it

can go higher above the ground.

4. Making the toolbox bigger so it can handle more

tools and equipment’s.

viv

Acknowledgement
The researcher would like to express their heartfelt
Gratitude and appreciation to those people who helped and
imparted their knowledge until the completion of the
undertaken research.

Dr. Shirley p. Deleon thesis instructor for her

patience and supervision in this study, for her suggestion
to improve the study and for the encouragement given to the
researchers.

Mr. Michael d. Uchi Thesis adviser, for giving ideas

and suggestion for improvement of the research study and
his effort and time in making sure that everything is well
done.
