What is the significance of Ignatian Spirituality in your life as an Atenean?

The significance of Ignatian spirituality in my life as an atenean is very huge. It taught
me to be a person who could help others when they need us, provide for them if we
are able, to be able to do things the right way even if no one is watching. Integrity
and Cura personalis is something that is very vital in my way of life. It has been
inculcated in me since the time that I have studied in this Jesuit institution. With this
things at hand I could really say that its significance within me is very huge.

What are two (2) aspects of Ignatian Spirituality which you have learned?

The 2 aspects of Ignatian spirtutiality that I have learned are love and Integrity.

How have you applied these aspects in your life?

First is Love. The very first thing that was taught to me at our house is to love. The
love of family, friends, other living things is something that was embedded in my life.
My family taught me to value everything around me regardless of its treatment on
me. Whether if the people are mean to me or they are good to me I should just treat
them equally and that I should be able to love them the way Jesus loved us and
saved us from our sins. Next is integrity. As a person who has been a part of the
student government for quite some time I have been taught to practice Integrity in
everything we do. I should be able to do the right things even if no one is watching in
order for me not to feel guilty about myself.
