The design criteria used in the selection of the tanks were based on the respective calculations of the reagent
consumption described in the calculation memory. To identify the appropriate tanks, we have used the
KOZEGHO company catalog, a document on which we have based on the selection of both tanks and their
agitators. In the same way, the choice of secondary equipment for each stage has been based on catalogs.

FERROSILICON

The Ferrosilico arrives in powder in BIG BAG with bags inside, with a capacity of 1000 Kg. This reagent
arrives from Arequipa in trucks that load a maximum of 20 T, after the arrival of the cargo trucks to the
mining unit, (Orders are monthly), they are unloaded by forklift to the reagent warehouse. For
preparation, the required daily BIG BAGs are transferred by forklift directly to the preparation area; in
this case the reagent dosing is direct by means of dosing pumps.

LIME PLANT

The lime arrives as a bulk solid in a big bag, with polypropylene bags inside to protect the lime, in a
capacity of 1000 kg. This reagent arrives from Arequipa in trucks that load a maximum of 45 Tons, after
the arrival of the cargo trucks to the mining unit, the orders will be monthly for big bags of lime, which
are unloaded by forklift to the reagent depot. For the preparation of the milk of lime, the big bags
necessary for the daily preparation are transferred directly to the preparation area by means of the
forklift, for the process of making the milk of lime.

POTASSIUM AMYL XANTHATE PLANT (PAX, Z-6)

ZINC SULPHATE PLANT

COPPER SULPHATE PLANT

by means of an electric key the bags are transferred to the reagent preparation circuit.

The Sulfuric Acid arrives as a liquid in plastic IBC drums with a capacity of 1200 Kg. This reagent
arrives from the port of in trucks that load a maximum of 30 Tons, after the arrival of the cargo trucks to
the mining unit, it is unloaded to the reagent warehouse. For the preparation, the necessary daily drums
are transferred by means of a forklift directly to the preparation area. In the case of this reagent, the
dosage is direct by dosing pumps.
