Chaos, Genesis, and Origins Skyblock Rules

This thread goes over the official Chaos, Genesis, and Origins Realm skyblock rules.
Please keep in mind that rules are subject to change at any time and you’re responsible for
keeping up to date with our server rules. As far as punishments go, skyblock strikes will be
given out as followed:

Strike #1 - 20% Island Levels taken

Strike #2 - 40% Island Levels taken

Strike #3 - 100% Island Levels taken + dq until the end of the current realms map

Strikes will be issued per realm and cleared per map. DQs will still remain global across all
Skyblock realms.
(E.g, Fonzy currently has #2 strikes on Genesis and appears on Island Top on Origins,
Therefore, Fonzy has #0 strikes on Origins.)​

Island owners are responsible for their island members. Any strikes/dqs will affect them as
well.

The Senior staff team can break off these rules and reserves the right to the final decision
on a case by case basis. This refers to the whole document.

Player Punishments:​
1. Exiting The Warzone Through Unapproved Methods

Finding a way to exit the warzone through unapproved methods is disallowed and can lead
to more severe punishment, as it is an unfair advantage. This includes ender pearling out or
finding a way out by jumping off into the void.

PUNISHMENT: Warning - 30m Tempban - 2hr Tempban - 1d Tempban

Note: You will need a video of the player escaping warzone in order for them to receive a
punishment. All punishments after 1d tempban is 1 additional day (i.e. 6th punishment is 3d,
10th punishment is 7d)

2. Bowing players from spawn

Bowing players from spawn is also against the rules, as it means you are at no risk of dying
while causing harm to another player in combat.

PUNISHMENT: 1d-7d-30d-Perm ban

3. TPA/Portal/Island Trapping or Killing

If you teleport someone to you and trap and/or kill them, then you will be punished. Trying to
trap players in places such as nether portals is also punishable as you are not only creating
a hassle for the player, but also an inconvenience for staff. This is not limited to islands but
is also applicable in the warzone.

PUNISHMENT: 1d-3d-7d ban

4. Entering an Island through unauthorized ways

Attempting to get away with setting an unauthorized home on a player’s island will result in
punishment. You will be forced to delete the home and share proof that you have done so in
order to escape harsher punishments. This also included flying to another island where you
may be banned or the island may be locked.

PUNISHMENT: 3d-7d-30d ban

PLEASE NOTE: Breaking this rule may also result in a strike for your island depending on
the circumstances, this would be discussed within the DQ Team.
5. Auction House Scamming

Using the Auction House in order to scam players for money by making items look like
something they’re not or listing an item with an offensive name will result in the following

PUNISHMENT: 1d-3d-5d ban

6. Inappropriate Builds

Building sexual or racist symbols or figures.

PUNISHMENT: Warn-15m-1hr-1d ban

PLEASE NOTE: This is only punishable when reported by a player and is an island open to
the public.

7. Sexual Harassment

As Skyblock is a less-competitive mode, less toxicity and harassment will be tolerated. As

such, sexual harassment against players will no longer be treated as simply disrespect or
toxicity and will be more harshly punished. Examples of this can include
threatening/suggesting rape, sex, or anything of the sort.

PUNISHMENT: 6h Mute - 1d - 7d

If the harassment continues, more severe punishments will be handed down to

perpetrators.

8. Use of Printer

Using printer causes an unfair advantage, as it can be used to essentially spawn in

high-earning farms far faster than a normal building.
PUNISHMENT: 2d Ban - 7d - 14d
DELETION OF THE BUILD

9. Insiding Islands/Griefing

Joining an island and taking what they have and leaving them with nothing for your own
personal gain. This may only be punishable if you can provide proof of the player/person
taking your items. Insiding may also be classified as leaking key information about an island
e.g. Grinder designs or hidden value. Teleporting players onto the island without the
permission of the island owner’s permission may also be classed as insiding if the island
owner reports it as such.

PLEASE NOTE: When kicked from an island without a chance to get your items back. This
is not insiding as you knowingly gave your spawners to the island with the knowledge that
you could be kicked.

PUNISHMENT: 7d-10d-30d ban

Your island and balance will also be reset, no matter how far into the season.

Island Punishments (Strikable Offences):​

10. Kicking Member(s) After They Contribute to The Island

If an island owner kicks (a) member(s) off an island (without valid reasoning) after they have
contributed a single-season Buycraft Store item (defined below) and/or have contributed a
significant amount of an island's value which they have purchased themselves via the mobshop,
pass etc (items purchased from /shop won't be counted unless the user can prove the money
used didn't come from the main island and/or alt islands), the owner will be punished. Amounts
of value considered 'significant' will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

A single-season buycraft item is defined as something that will be wiped once a map ends such
as a ‘sell chest’ or a ‘monthly crate’ which the player has purchased themselves. An island will
not be punished if a player contributes multiple use kits. We also don't count Buycraft Items from
the Archon Pass under this rule as the user still stands to benefit from the pass, however, the
spawners will count as value that they have contributed.

These rules however will be disregarded if the player is cheating / breaking a rule that is a
strikeable offence and the island owner is to report this to the DQ team.

11. Auto-Fishing

Using an auto fisher, whether it is via a client or using Redstone, is not allowed. If caught
using a hacked client in order to auto-fish, you will be punished with the same severity as a
regular hacked client. If caught using a Redstone contraption to auto-fish, the punishment is
as follows.

12. Splitting Value/Island Wealth

Splitting island wealth in order to gain an advantage over other islands is not accepted. This
includes unfairly assisting another island to obtain island top or intentionally boosting other
islands this can be through unrealistic deals and etc. This includes making friends an island
leader, or giving alts access to the main island to take value, and also giving out wealth. Any
Buycraft deals must be complete within a reasonable amount of time after the in-game
goods have been traded (a reasonable timeframe for a deal to be completed in can be
defined by a member of the DQ Team under request) otherwise, this can also be seen as
boosting.

PUNISHMENT:
1x Island Strike against Both Islands

13. Un-Merging Islands

Once you merge with an island you are not allowed to unmerge, this will result in two Island
Strikes for the two islands who participated in the unmerge. If you cannot provide a
sufficient reason, both island leaders will be punished as the following:

14. Unfair Advantage/Cheating

The Island Leader is responsible for all members invited to his/her island. If a member on
your island is caught cheating or having an unfair advantage to gain a lead over other
players, this will result in an island strike. Island leaders and members are expected to
follow all server rules and play fair. The administration team will have the final say in what
can and can not get you struck.

NOTE: If this occurs multiple times, the strikes will keep adding on. For example, an island
member was caught using an unfair advantage, this will result in Strike 1. Then another
island member is caught using an unfair advantage, this will result in Strike 2 and so on. All
value gained from cheating will be removed (this includes MobCoins), as well as
value from the strike.

15. Use of X-Ray

Using a hacked client or a resource pack or any other method to X-Ray will result in an
Island Strike.

PUNISHMENT: 30d Ban - Perm Ban

16. Use of Scripts

Scripts to automatically run commands (i.e. /fix, /sell, etc…), talk in chat, move around, and
give an unfair advantage are not allowed.

NOTE: Console clients are allowed, however using scripts on these to gain an advantage
over others is not allowed. E.g. OQ Minebot is allowed in order to merely AFK accounts (IF
being used in a grinder/farm), however using scripts within OQ or console clients for
example if you use a script such as Baritone (auto mining script) with this, you will be
punished. Punishment for this will vary depending on the severity and will be discussed by
the DQ Team.

PUNISHMENT: Perm Ban

NOTE: Autoclickers class as a hacked client, and so using an autoclicker will warrant a
permanent ban.

PLEASE NOTE:

AFK mining is allowed ONLY through the common F11 glitch. If caught using a hacked
client to AFK mine, you will be punished under use of scripts. You may ONLY use the F11
glitch to mine at a cobblestone generator. Using the F11 glitch on wood, pumpkins, or
anything other than a cobblestone generator is strictly prohibited and will result in a
punishment as well.

17. Exploiting/ Bug Abuse

Level 1 Bug Exploitation:

Level 1 Bug Exploitation includes abusing bugs to gain an unfair advantage in pvp,
bypassing protection regions, glitching potion effects, ect...

PUNISHMENT: 1d ban, 3d ban, 7d ban

Level 2 Bug Exploitation:

Level 2 Bug Exploitation includes the act of unfairly gaining an advantage over other
players via more severe bugs. Examples of Level 2 Bug Exploitation include, but are not
limited to, unauthorized methods of gaining mobcoins and/or money, duping of items,
etc...

PUNISHMENT: 3d ban

2x Island Strike

NOTE: This does not cover things involving exiting Warzone in an unauthorized manner
(Rule 1) or entering islands unauthorized (Rule 5)

18. Strike Evasion

Using an alternate IP, alts, transferring ownership of the striked island, kicking a player
off an island once a staff member has banned them and before a removal of value for a
strike has taken place (Island leaders reporting members of their island for cheating and
removing them is allowed if a ticket is made and is reported to the DQ Team) etc… to
evade a strike is strictly not allowed. If caught, players will be punished severely.

19. Refusal To Screenshare/Logging out while frozen

If any of our qualified staff members freeze you and have sufficient evidence towards
screensharing you (Besides Admins) and you decide to Refuse or Log out this will result in
a Strike.

PUNISHMENT: Perm Ban

20. Active Cheats found in Screenshare/Modified Recycling Bin

Any active cheats found in the Screenshare will result in a strike. If you delete anything
while you were frozen, will also result in a strike.

21. Every 5 Bans associated with an island will result in a strike

Any 5 types of bans, (Temp-bans, Permanent Bans) within an island will result in an Island
Strike. This can include bans for cheating, Tpa trapping and etc.

22. Scamming

Scamming In-Game items/money will result in an Island Strike. Participating in the evasion
of this rule will also result in the below punishment. For example: you pay a person 500
million, and they scammed you that money.

In extreme cases, the punishment will change depending on a decision made by the DQ
Team.

PUNISHMENT: 7d Tempban - 14d - 30d - PERM ban

23. IRL Scamming

IRL Scamming will result in an Island Strike. For example: A player agrees to do a buycraft
deal (Skeleton Rank for 50 million), and Skeleton Rank was purchased but no money was
received.

PUNISHMENT: Perm Ban

Note: An island cannot be DQ'd if a striked player joins their island while the strikes cap a
three. Take these examples:

● If two players with a combined total of two strikes joins an island with zero strikes,
that island has a total of two strikes until the map concludes.
● If 2 players with a combined total of three strikes joins an island with one strike, that
island has a total of two strikes until the map concludes.

Island Strike Transfers
If a player has receive one or more strikes from their existing island and wishes to join
another island, their strikes will follow to the next island. The new island will not have value
removed as the player was punished previously. Only a tally of strikes will be added to the
new island owner's username.

24. Auto-Selling

Using an Auto-Clicker; Bot; Script; Macro - to Automatically sell items is disallowed, doing
so will result in the following punishment.

PUNISHMENT: Permanent Ban & Balance Wiped

25. Merging - Genesis, Origins, Chaos

If you wish to merge your island with another and wish to take value which would boost
you/put you on Island top, you must contact a Senior Moderator or higher in order to do so.
Merging is not allowed until the map is 7 days old, any island members transferred from
the merged island must not be kicked for at least 2 weeks after the merge unless a valid
reason for the kick is provided to staff (i.e, insiding or contribution of a strike), not just
general toxicity and each case of this will be discussed by the DQ team, rule 10 still
applies. Any merge that may exceed the current value of IS TOP 1 will be reduced until
you are level with their value, merges may take place from Friday 5pm EST - Thursday
5pm EST. Any attempt to hide value to exceed IS TOP 1 will result in a breaking of the
merging rule. This includes all balances, money notes , spawners and value from both
islands but does not include infinity chests from the main island.

1st merge: 30% of merged value is taken.

2nd merge: 50% of merged value is taken.

3+ merge: 70% of merged value is taken.

Failure to comply with these regulations will result in the following punishment

Please note you will need to make a ticket in order to let staff know about this.

PUNISHMENT: 50% of the main islands total value removed.

26. Alt Islands

There is a limit on the amount of alt islands each main island may have. Each main island
may only have a maximum of two alt islands, that are used for grinding/making money. The
members on the island must only consist of the players on the main island (following rule
Islands used as alt islands must be told to a member on the skyblock DQ team through the
ticket system on the Archon Discord. This excludes islands only used for trophies. This is to
prevent island owners from switching the value back and forth as well as to prevent islands
from hiding payout value on other islands, to place it before payout. Failure to follow this
rule will result in the punishment listed below.

Example: oCast is the main island owner, and listed Smoothiees and BrandyAU as the alt
islands, but Jamie is also a member of the main island, and he is using Swagruler as an alt
island, that is punishable.

PUNISHMENT: 1 week DQ for the main island owner

27. Multiple Islands

If you or your island member is on multiple top islands this will count as being an alt
island/splitting value. Staff will give you 24 hours to kick/leave. If not done in 24 hours both
island will be striked.

PUNISHMENT: 24 hour Warning - 1x Island strike (Punishment could vary depending upon
DQ-Team discussion).

28. Inappropriate Island Name

If an Island Owner/Co Owner changes the name of their island to an inappropriate word or
statement which violates the server/realm rules, said player will be punished as follows:

Punishment: Warn-1h-3h-12h-1d Ban

PLEASE NOTE: A Island Name being considered inappropriate is up to the decision of
the staff team and if problems persist punishments with more severity may be issued.

29. Island Selling

Buying or selling islands for items on other realms/Buycraft items are strictly not allowed
on our network. Any attempts to do so will be punished accordingly. Buying an island is
classified as when player(s) attempt to trade their items / money which exceed 30% of
an island's total value (including potential value with balances) for other goods
(including but not limited to: PayPal, In game items and Store items) in a single or
multiple deals. Once you have done a large deal for 30% or less of the total value, you
must wait 7d to do any further deals with any island(s) / player(s).

NOTE: This does not affect Rule 25 and merging.

In extreme cases, the punishment will change depending on a decision made by the DQ
Team.

PUNISHMENT: ALL bought value cleared + 1x ISLAND STRIKE for the buyers + 1
WEEK DISQUALIFICATION for the seller.

30. Multiple Inputs/Rebinding Keys

Using third-party hardware or software in order to click faster/not manually click is prohibited
on our network. These include but are not limited to: autoclickers, using both a trackpad and
a mouse, using a double-clicking mouse or rebinding your attack button to another key on
your keyboard. The same also applies in scenarios where the player uses Minecraft to
rebind their attack button to another key on their keyboard as each click must be done
manually with the left-click on either a mouse or a trackpad.

NOTE: Using the F11 glitch is allowed, but only when mining.

31. Blacklists & Blacklist/Ban Evasion

If an island has a total of 3 or more accounts banned for ban evading (total of 1 accounts for
blacklist evading), both the ban evading account and the main account's island will be
punished accordingly whether it be for personal gain or not.

PUNISHMENT: Temp/Perm ban for the original length of the main account's ban.

PLEASE NOTE: MOST blacklists obtained by members of an island will also result in a
strike for every blacklist obtained by a player on that island. Each case of this will be
specifically discussed by the Administration team.

32. Transferring Disqualified Items

If your island has been disqualified from payouts, you are not allowed to transfer, sell or
relocate any value/items/money from that island. This includes but is not limited to items
such as armour sets/ weapons, all money in a players balance/money notes, any items from
our Buy Craft Store (Sell Chests, Robots, Sell Wands, etc) and all Island value types such
as spawners, blocks, etc. If a member of a Disqualified Island wishes to leave and join
another Island, they must create a ticket and have their inventories, balance, enderchest
and player vaults entirely wiped so that they can not transport any items. Evading this rule
in order to release disqualified wealth into the economy will result in the following
punishment.

PUNISHMENT: 14d-30d-Perm Ban

1x Island Strike + 1 Week DQ for the Island(s) being given value & Disqualification for the
rest of the map for the player distributing the value.

PLEASE NOTE: In some cases, the punishment may vary due to input from the Senior Staff
team.

33. Disqualified Members

If an island becomes disqualified and you were the cause of any of the strikes counted
towards the disqualification, you & your items will also be disqualified until the end of the
disqualification issued for the initial island.
This means that if you join an island then they will also be disqualified until you've left.

Attempting to bypass this rule will cause the following punishment to be issued:

PUNISHMENT: 7d-14d-30d Ban

1x Island strike for the island you were assisting.

PLEASE NOTE: Punishments may differ and are discussed by the Senior Staff team on a
case by case basis.
34. Block Glitching

Block glitching in any form will not be tolerated on the server. Doing so will result in the
following punishment.

PUNISHMENT: 1d-3d-7d Ban.

35. Cheater/Blacklisted Player Association

Receiving assistance from players who are cheating and or blacklist evading is against the
rules, whether or not they are on your island. This punishment will be issued when it is clear
an island is being assisted persistently or frequently by a specific cheater/blacklisted player.
This includes, but is not limited to: Supplying a cheater/blacklisted player with money and
gear to help protect outpost, receiving and accepting items from a cheater/blacklisted player
which have been purchased via the mobshop and receiving EXP from a user who has been
banned for cheating or blacklist evading recently.

PUNISHMENT:

2d-7d-14d-PERM ban for the person receiving the item AND/OR the main island owner of
the receiver AND possibly 1x ISLAND STRIKE (severity dependant)

PLEASE NOTE:

Each case of this will be specifically discussed within the DQ Team; we reserve the right to
have the final say on ALL punishments regarding this rule.

36. Building Useful builds on Opposing Islands

Building structures which have useful functionality on opposing islands is against the rules.
Useful structures include any kind of mob grinders, farms and generally anything which can be
used directly to make money. Each case of this will be handled independently by the DQ Team.

PUNISHMENT:
1st Offence: Warn + Build removed
2nd Offence: 1 Strike + Build removed
3rd Offence: 1 Strike + Build removed + 3d Ban for the island owner and the person building
37. Rotating Island Roster

Changing members on your island outside of specific weekly times are not allowed and may
result in a punishment. Your island roster will be defined 12 hours after the island is created
and may only be changed during a 24 hour period from Friday 5pm EST - Saturday 5pm
EST each week. Exceptions may be made in rare circumstances (e.g. someone insides
your island mid-week,) however, all exceptions will be decided on by the DQ Team on a
case-by-case basis. If someone leaves your island on their own mid-week, you may not
replace them with a new member. New members may be invited to the island at any point
until the island reaches its member capacity for the first time, however, once on the island,
this member can't be kicked without reason as rule 10 still applies with any kicks.

have the final say on ALL punishments regarding this rule.

PUNISHMENT: 1x Strike per offence

38. Abusing Alternate accounts for Assistance completing Challenges and Obtaining
Rewards

Using an alt account which is in no way a part of your island or roster to quickly obtain
rewards or complete challenges is prohibited, this includes but is not limited to: Adventures,
Power Shop, /challenge, ect... (This does not include Archon Pass or Mobshop/Tokenshop)
If caught receiving rewards from any account not on the island or caught supplying the
necessary items to these accounts and or using said account to assist you in completing
any of the above examples of challenges it will result in the following punishment.

PLEASE NOTE:

Each case of this will be specifically discussed within the DQ Team; we reserve the right to
have the final say on ALL punishments regarding this rule.

PUNISHMENT: 1x Island strike + 7d Ban for any accounts linked in the alt abuse.
39. Teaming

Teaming in PvP with any other player(s) on other islands besides your own main island is
punishable. This applies to all areas of PvP besides island warps. Passive teaming is
allowed, meaning two or more players can have mutual agreements to not attack one
another at places like PvP Lake so all parties benefit. Players passive teaming will be
punished if they engage in PvP with other teams and work together to kill players. A
player(s) may also not be exchanged between islands to pvp with them. This does not apply
if 2 people start to team on 1 person because their helmet broke etc unless after there is no
attempt to fight each other. This rule also includes a team protecting another team's
outpost. (Meaning if a player(s) kills an opposing team trying to capture outpost and goes
on to make no effort to capture it afterwards) In most cases we will require a video of the
whole fight unless it is blatantly teaming. The Senior Staff team has a say in all cases in
what is and is not punishable.

PLEASE NOTE: We punish for teaming in FFA (even with your own island members) but it
does not count towards the strikeable offences.

PUNISHMENT: 2d ban for the accounts deemed to be teaming + any 2 separate instances
of teaming will result in 1x island strike.

PLEASE NOTE:

For ALL PAYOUTS, you will NOT be eligible for any payouts if you have a member on your
team that is currently disqualified.
