FINAL ACTIVITY
NAME : Yason, Joyce C.

Overview of the activity :

People often mistake leadership and management as the same thing, but in
essence they are very different. The main difference between the two is that leaders
have people follow them, while managers have people who simply work for them.
Therefore, leadership and management must go hand in hand. Even though they are
not the same thing, they are closely linked and complementary to one another.
Relative to this, the Graduate School of Education has conducted a Webinar
entitled “Leadership and Management Practices in the New Normal” with the
Theme: “Leading for Tomorrows Success”. This activity aimed to :
  provide the participants with different techniques and strategies in
leading,  manage stress and develop awareness on mental health  in this
time of  pandemic.
 contribute to the continued improvement of teaching and learning in the
classrooms, delivery of student services, and management of educational
programs.

As an output , participants are required to submit a reflection journal as

implication of the topics discussed by the three (3) resource speakers.

 As future school leader I will practice leadership and management in the new

accomplish I will not act like a boss to but rather a leader that they could come
to me and talk to me whether they are having hard time to finish the task that I
gave them and also I will listen to their idea or suggestions for the sake of the
school.

2. How do you manage stress? Site your experiences on managing your stress.
 Stress is very common in this time of pandemic, especially in our case that we

pandemic came and the mode of teaching changed that’s why my second year of
teaching still my adjustment period and because of that it caused stress to me
and in order to manage the stress I listened to the musics that makes me happy
and I never forget to unwind twice a month a gave myself to relax and away

lot of work to do.

affect your stability as teacher in the new normal?
 The importance of Mental Health Awareness is for us to be aware of our
mental health because if we didn’t give importance to this it may lead to

we are the role models of out students and if we didn’t monitor our
